What a typical day looks like:
- Join the hardware architecture and product integration concept definition
- Develop magnetic component specification, design and simulation
- Work with suppliers to achieve trade-off between cost, performance and size
- Support component debug, validation, till to production
- Release design and test documents
- New tech study and sharing, technical documents writing
- Develop patents/trade secrets to protect company’s intellectual property
- 1)Design Main trf and PFC& inductor at high frequency
- 2)Simulate the combined main trf and PFC& inductor
- 3)Master Mn-Zn/Ni-Zn/Powder material characteristics
- 4)Master raw-material characteristics
- 5)Make the new samples with new machine and new process level
- 6)Manage the raw material & MP parts suppliers
- 7)Monitor the quality level of magnetic suppliers
- 8)Audit all the whole MP process level of magnetic suppliers
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor or above degree, major in Electronic Engineering or mechatronics.
- At least 6-8 years of experience in magnetic component design is required, such as power transformers, buck boost inductors, EMI choke, etc…
- Understand the technical specification of iron core materials grade level, as well as their suitability for various design applications
- Familiar with magnetic component design calculations and simulation operation
- Familiar with the production process and corresponding working hours of manufacturer
- Understand the safety regulations for magnetic component
- Experience in magnetic component simulation tool, such as Maxwell etc.
- Good command of read & write English, oral English will be a plus.
