What a typical day looks like:
- Provide professional industrialization support to NPI/APA/PCR projects through coordinating the resource from process engineering.
- Perform DFA analysis for new product and provide consultation of production technology to design.
- Drive and following DFA each findings implement activities.
- Early involving to new Mech. component designing phase and provide professional production related technology to component designer.
- Define and provide Mech. production related process and technical solution for NPI/APA/PCR projects to support project successful.
- Drive and coordinate to engineering team to review new designing product design rules and provide professional ideas to Mechanical designer from DFM/A related technology point of view.
- Review design document and make sure all production documents ready for each production test runs.
- Support and provide professional requirement of Tool, Fixture for new products production in NPI/APA/PCR project.
- Drive PFMEA activities for NPI project and following up each action.
- Define and Manage Mechanical process for New Product Introduction, Transfer Product Introduction and Mass Production.
- Provide daily engineering support to production, project. Provide technical support to EMS in needed.
- Define and standard Mechanical process, very familiar with laser marking process, De-pannel process, Labling process, Assy process, packing process and automatic process, etc.
- All process parameters setting throughout whole Mechanical processes.
- Define and routine process control of Mechanical manufacturing.
- Introduce new mechanical equipment base on business requirements. Setup, verify new production lines as well as improve productivity.
- Monitor DPPM in productions and drive to sustaining improvement.
- Provide professional and agile support to production for problems analysis to achieve an efficient manufacturing.
- Be responsible for ROT (Request Of Test) of mechanical process in NPI, TPI projects, provide fixtures, prepare all programs, optimize overall process and make final producibility report.
- Provide technical support to QCC (Quality and Claims Control), FRAG (Failure Rate Analysis Group) on Mechanical processes related to improve quality yield within supply chain.
- Create working instructions to guild and standard operations in whole processes.
- Provide staff training to fulfill the working instructions, and help manufacturing lines to build up multi-skill pool resource.
- Continuously monitoring the utilization of lines and improve it, increase production capacity.
- Maintain process related data together with IE engineer for analysis, improvement and quality recording purpose.
- Other tasks assigned by up level managers.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor degree or above in the area of Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electronics or relevant.
- Experienced and showing a proven track record in Engineering, Manufacturing in Electronics industry.
- Be familiar with SMA & Assembly processes and equipment.
- Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma is preferred.
- Good Power Module knowledge, products and processes is a plus.
- Fluent in English, oral and written.
- Good communications, interpersonal, and influencing skills and leadership.
- NPI experiences with good understanding and risk awareness
- Automatic experiences
- 3D CAD skill is preferred.
