In this role, you will have end-to-end ownership of the import supply chain processes, from manufacturer facilities in Mexico to product availability in our US Fulfillment Centers. You will develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize customer experience while leveraging the advantages of nearshore sourcing.This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to manage all aspects of the business autonomously. You should have a bias for action, be able to make data-driven decisions quickly, and adapt to the evolving landscape of international trade.Key job responsibilities
- Educate Vendors on Road/rail arc direct imports.- Develop and improve vendor relations and import sourcing for cost savings and new selection.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and contract standards

- 7+ years of with Excel experience
- 7+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
- Experience with business analysis and P&L management
- Experience negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree or certificate of completion of studies required and at least 8+ years of professional background.
- Fluent in both, English and Spanish

- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Experience in imports, logistics, supply chain and/or procurement a plus.
