1.POSITION OBJECTIVE

  • Responsible for ensuring servers are maintain and comply with Citi standards.
  • To support the Citibank Turkey Business in all aspects related to Server Administration, function in distributed systems infrastructure environment.
  • Manage server problems and resolution.
  • Support infrastructure projects and implementations.
  • Works closely with infrastructure manager, regional infrastructure teams, application support and development teams, vendors, and country business areas

2.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES*

  • Support infrastructure server operation functions within Turkey by ensuring that all production systems including disaster recovery systems are up and always running. Administer the overall activities to develop/design, maintain and trouble-shoot of country server infrastructure systems within corporate technology framework standards and policies. Support server environment related distributed systems operations to limit unexpected interruptions and advice his/her team to identify and resolve server environment systems problems, seeking secured work-around as needed.
  • Respond infrastructure requests and inquiries from clients or production support teams, escalate to management timely any identified issues when resolving of the issue is not possible or takes time.
  • Performs regular tasks to maintain server infrastructure like hardware/hard Disk maintenance/swaps, media and hard disk management and annual reconciliations, recurring system room log review, backup management, hardware asset reconciliation etc.
  • Continuously examine and assess server environment resource utilization and performance under his/her domain and acts accordingly. Tracks system level agreement (SLA) and discrepancy. Prioritize necessary upgrades on server environment systems to keep Citibank Turkey technology infrastructure at a reasonable operational level.
  • Ensuring infrastructure server operations compliance to global policies and standards. Works and liaises with the global/regional server administration teams and support groups to meet the needs for Citibank Turkey business requirements and demands. Oversight regional/global teams infrastructure server operations.
  • Assures that self-assessment key risk indicator process is execute properly, findings and issues are resolved in timely manner for his/her area.
  • Contribute continual cost review structure and cost reduction activities
  • Coordinate and/or corporate to all technology support groups within Turkey for all technology infrastructure related projects and tasks. Monitor/report on the end-to-end delivery of projects to the business.
  • Manage priorities by ensuringinstallations/implementationof server systems are in line with local/regional management requirements and priorities.
  • Contribute to the efforts related to development, design, management, and maintenance of complex server environment for Citibank Turkey, ensuring optimum use of the related resources within Citibank Turkey security standards.
  • Provides technical expertise and knowledge required for processes, projects, and operations. Assesses new available technologies, which can or should be applied to Citibank Turkey infrastructure. Create Best Practices from common issues
  • Support protocols and procedures as needed to maintain consistency with Citibank Local and regional network and distributed systems infrastructure and operations. Adhere to appropriate departmental procedures and practices.
  • Monitors infrastructure software licenses are in line with the number of installed bases.
  • Monitor and analyze server environment configurations for potential problems and/or to increase performance on all related systems.
  • Work in partnership, demonstrates behavioral and technical skills to increase effectiveness of the team. Collaborate with technology management for effective management of technology priorities. Establish working relationship with other technology team members.
  • Manage the vendor relationship and other related service agreements if it is necessary.

3.QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in engineering, MIS/MBA will be plus
  • Proficiency in English
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technology disciplines
