Working schedule:20/30/40 hours a week

As a Full Stack Developer in the SAP Cloud Platform CF UIs team you will have the opportunity to learn new technologies and tools in the cloud. Improve the User Experience of the Platform for our end customers and partners. You will expand your knowledge in cloud infrastructure, cloud native and UX.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the UX of the existing Interfaces
• Strive for continuously improving the provided services through active development dialog and engagement with customers
• Work with the development teams to help them understand the customer-first approach and apply it successfully.
• Continuous delivery and support the CF UIs for CF on BOSH and CF on K8s in public and private cloud.​
• Understand, adapt, and integrate open-source Cloud Foundry UIs within SAP’s Cloud Foundry environment within SAP Cloud Platform.​
• Work on various cloud services written in Java, GoLang, etc.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

• Education : Working towards a BSc in Computer Science or a related field
• Automation Interest : A keen interest in automation
• Team Collaboration : Good communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• Full-Stack Development Basics :
  • Frontend : Exposure to front end JavaScript frameworks and libraries
  • Backend : Basic knowledge of Java and REST API development
• Testing Awareness :
  • Familiarity with Unit Tests, Integration Tests
  • Basic knowledge of end-to-end (e2e) testing
• Source Control Basics : Familiarity with any source control system
• Methodologies : Some knowledge of Agile/SCRUM principles
• Problem Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Language Skills : Proficiency in English for working in a multicultural environment

Any of the following would be considered an advantage:

• Visual/UX Design : Interest in visual design or user experience
• Professional Experience: Any programming experience is beneficial
• Team Experience : Experience working in diverse, international teams

We are the CF UIs team, responsible for the majority of the Cloud Foundry related UIs in the SAP Business Technology Platform (also known as the BTP Cockpit). We maintain, improve and develop UIs for the Cloud Foundry Environment.
