Netflix Title Social Manager Marketing - Korea

We are currently seeking a Title Social Manager who possesses a strong background in social marketing and a genuine passion for content and entertainment. As a part of the social marketing team, this individual will oversee title-specific social marketing campaigns, from developing an integrated strategy for each title to executing these campaigns, aiming to maximize viewership by sparking social conversation around our titles.
Key responsibilities:
  • Generate positive and impactful conversations around the title and cultivate a fandom for both the title and Netflix.
  • Develop a holistic social marketing strategy for the title and execute the entire campaign - planning, execution, and measurement - based on title prioritization.
  • Lead the creation of the complete package of title social marketing assets, which includes social editorials, talent shoots, bespoke content, and more.
  • Develop new and innovative social stunts, ranging from single content format to globally scaled campaigns, that will create impact and generate buzz among social audiences.
  • Work alongside the social channel manager to develop a cutting-edge social media campaign strategy, based on a comprehensive understanding of social platforms and audiences.
  • Develop the paid social strategy for unscripted series under the overarching social marketing strategy for the title in collaboration with the agencies.
  • Lead export title social strategy for global audience by collaborating with global social teams to enhance the presence of Korean titles within Netflix's social ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Film and Series marketing, PR, and event teams, to develop a holistic campaign strategy.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders including showrunners, business partners, and agencies.
Qualifications:
  • Has a minimum of 10+ years of experience in the social, digital marketing team in agencies, start-up and CPG brands preferably entertainment and content industries.
  • Has a proven track record in social marketing, including upscale digital campaigns that successfully create meaningful conversations both online and offline.
  • Has a deep understanding of social platforms and experience in overall social marketing including community building, fan engaging campaign, influencer collaboration, social assets creation and paid social campaigns.
  • Has an understanding of a comprehensive marketing strategy that encompasses all marketing communication functions, including PR, advertising, social, events, and more.
  • A team player capable of engaging and collaborating with internal teams at Netflix.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, along with experience in managing needs and requirements from multiple stakeholders.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced culture with a high tolerance for change and the ability to accomplish substantial amounts of work within tight timelines.
  • Above all, must have an in-depth love and passion for entertainment and Netflix.
  • Respect and understanding of Netflix culture.
  • Fluency in both English and Korean is required.
