Your key responsibilities
- Performing daily AP/AR tasks, including invoice processing, payment allocations, and vendor account reconciliation, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Supporting team workflows by managing task allocations and maintaining data accuracy.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex or high-risk issues related to AP/AR, including discrepancies, vendor disputes, or policy exceptions.
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members, fostering a high-performance culture that supports continuous learning, accountability, and alignment with EY’s core values.
- Contributing to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions to the Service Delivery Manager.
What we look for
- Strong working knowledge of end-to-end AP/AR processes, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and relevant financial systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering an engaged and collaborative team culture.
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with a structured, detail-focused approach to managing high volumes of work and competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset, with a desire to make a meaningful impact and drive better ways of working.
- Previous experience operating in a team leader/supervisor capacity would be beneficial.
