Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Formal training or certification on data platform concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise"
• Hands on expert level experience with Python, PySpark, or Java. Strong understanding of building spark jobs and tuning spark to meet or exceed performance benchmarks
• Demonstrate experience shipping software products to crunch billions of records using AWS technologies like EMR, ECS, Lambdas, APIs, Redshift, S3, Athena, RDS, or Opensearch

Preferred qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Experience with building data engineering pipelines and reporting tools a plus
