As an Engagement Manager, you'll focus on maximizing customer satisfaction, retention and growth. Program managing from pre-sales through service delivery you'll help to evolve customers' cloud strategies. As an industry expert, you'll deliver business outcomes for customers through innovation, relationships and business understanding.

As an Engagement Manager II, you will be responsible for:

• Working independently as a trusted advisor for customer stakeholders to support their long-term strategy and visions
• Owning the technical program management while maximizing Akamai's platform value for the customer
• Being the central point of contact for customers and leading the integrated account team delivering customer success
• Educating customers on and empowering their adoption of Akamai's products and services to support account growth
• Responding to escalations when various program management issues arise and leading operational improvements to mitigate future risks

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
• Demonstrate deep understanding of the consulting process and the building of effective relationships to ensure customer success
• Show experience of managing and delivering large technical customer projects successfully
• Be knowledgeable on Devops, web development, web performance and information security technologies such as HTTPS, DNS
• Have internet technology experience, experience with products/processes related to application architectures or information security
• Demonstrate good written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
