Description
Key activities:• Review and interpret standards against product design requirements• Producing and presenting concise project data analysis and status reporting information• Plan and execute delivery of all testing samples and support equipment• Maintain procedures and core regulatory reference material• Ensuring internal documentation and processes are maintained and up to date• Maintain security in line with corporate security requirements• Reviewing 3rd party data and test reports
Minimum Qualifications
- Engineering Degree (Electrical/Electronic/Wireless Communications)
- Minimum 5 years in RF Systems design and debug activities
- Experience directly with wireless product development
- Experience with route cause analysis and design change proposals
- Experience with EMC/LVD/RE-D Directive, ETSI/3GPP Standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal
- Good organisational skills, ability to work under own initiative and pressure
- Ability to prioritise tasks and adopt a flexible approach to working methods and time
Preferred Qualifications
- Detailed knowledge of at least two of the following areas: SAR, EMC, Radiated RF testing (Cellular/Wi-Fi/BT), Conducted RF testing (Cellular/Wi-Fi/BT)
- Good technical understanding of at least two of the following: Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, GSM/WCDMA/LTE/5G, Wireless Power Transfer
- Chartered Engineer status
- Experience with CE/FCC/IC certification
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python
