This role requires leadership skills, you will hire and develop some of the industry’s best cloud-based solutions architects. Coach them on cloud adoption best practices, empower them to further develop their technical areas of depth as well as their communication, presentation and strategic advisory skills. You will be partnering with other teams such as business development, service teams, marketing, and professional services, prioritizing your initiatives and aligning goals to maximize long term value.You will be measuring and delivering results, while staying in touch with the pace of innovation of the AWS technology and its use cases. You will need to be technically capable and credible in your own right as well so that you can shape the customer’s technology adoption and solutions-focused initiatives of your team.You will get to practice your creativity in driving the link between technology and tangible solutions and educating customers about the art of the possible. Central to this will be your leadership in driving Solutions Architects to create cutting edge reference architectures for a variety of use cases.Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities· Hire, enable, and develop an industry-leading team of solutions architects.
· Build deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads that support their digital transformation and journey to the cloud.
· Educate customers in India on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
· Support achievement of revenue objectives through the adoption and migration of applications, software, and services onto the AWS platform, in partnership with the business development team.
· Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, data sheets, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices.· Strategy & Innovation: articulate business/industry fundamentals ( e.g., ROI, TCO); understand regulations and operational excellence; familiarity with business strategy and trends in the IT industry (e.g., CI/CD, IoT, Predictive Analytics).A day in the life

- 15+ Yrs of Experience overall and 5+ years in a technical leadership role. Experience building technical teams including hiring, training, development, coaching and mentoring. Experience building industry and technology solutions. Ability to interface with C-level as well as technical resources at AWS India. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers. Strong written communication skills. Outstanding customer relationship management experience and collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. Highly technical and analytical, possessing. 12 or more years of related experience. Compile, deliver, and evangelize end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformation toward cloud computing. Compile, develop, and deliver architectural guardrails, and align with IT strategy. Influence stakeholders and ensure compliance within many technology domains that comply with technical and business requirements. Serve as a subject matter expert to guide technology strategy by convincing decision makers across multiple domains and working with architects in each domain. BE level degree required.

- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
