As a Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play acritical role in driving the procurement strategy and initiatives for thecontract logistics category in the APAC region. You will be responsible fordeveloping the sourcing strategy and executing all sourcing activities. Yourexpertise in strategic sourcing and supply chain management will beinstrumental in driving cost savings, improving supplier performance, andensuring efficient contract logistics operations.You will report directly to the Director of Strategic Sourcing – GlobalWarehousing + Distribution. In thisrole, you will have a significant impact on the financial performance of thebusiness through the delivery of cost savings, working capital improvement, andsupplier quality. You will be responsible for developing and executing annualand strategic procurement plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.You will lead sourcing transition initiatives to optimize the supply base,achieve lowest total cost, and reduce sole/single source risk. Additionally,you will drive improvements in sourcing processes and performance througheffective management operating systems.
• Develop and execute annual and strategic procurement plans
• Ensure alignment and lead procurement strategies with businessobjectives
• Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives related to third partywarehouse services• Drive supplier negotiation and contract management
• Leverage data to identify savings opportunities and service improvements
• Leverage benchmarking and should cost modeling to guide tactical plansand in supplier negotiations.
• Improve sourcing processes and performance through an effective
• Communicate and report transition progress to senior leadership• 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplychain management
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing procurementstrategies
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
• Knowledge of sourcing processes and tools, such as SAP and e-sourcingplatforms
• International experience with exposure to high-growth regions
• Cross-functional experience in engineering/technology, operations,sales/marketing
• Master's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• Extensive experience in procurement
• Complex and large project management and/or contract managementexperience
• Professional certifications in project/supply chain/procurement/contractmanagement
• Demonstrated business and financial acumen
• Experience with SAP, E-Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools,Project Management Tools
