Senior Software Engineer

Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in software engineering or related experience; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience in software engineering or related experience.

Must have experience with: Coding in an object oriented programming language Java; Writing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito frameworks; Designing and implementing RestFul web services in Java using Spring Boot and writing integration tests for the same; Developing applications using Scala in Play framework; Implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, and using Git as source control management and build tool as Maven; Containerizing and orchestrating containers of applications using docker and kubernetes; Using cloud technologies like Google cloud; Performing CRUD operations with RDBMS datatabases such as AzureSQL; Working on NoSQL databases such as Cassandra; Aggregating all the application logs and sending them to Splunk; Utilizing caching strategies to store high volume static API responses onto disk stores to improve the performance using MeghaCache; Implementing message queues to produce and consume messages using Kafka; Configuring SonarQube to resolve security bugs as part of build process; and Following OWASP principles while developing.
