As a Securities Services Operations Transformation -in the Securities Services Operations - Transformation team, you will be part of the, instrumental to define the strategy, develop execution plans and deliver change programs across Product Development, Operations and Technology stakeholders. In this role you will also have a chance to use your strong communication skills combined with outstanding executive presentation skills, with the ability to bring people together and face off to colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Job responsibilities
- Leads and manages end-to-end projects, from initiation to implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Works with key stakeholders and clients to understand their requirements and expectations, ensuring that deliverables meet their needs and enhance overall client satisfaction
- Identifies potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
- Provides guidance, direction, and support to project teams, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment
- Identifies, continuously, opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and automation to enhance operational performance
- Develops and maintains comprehensive project reports, metrics, and KPIs to provide insights into project progress and performance
- Works with technology teams to integrate innovative solutions into the securities services operations landscape, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business goals
- Facilitates smooth transitions during system upgrades, process changes, and organizational restructuring, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Stays abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within the securities services domain to provide strategic insights
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar leadership role within securities services operations or financial services
- Understanding of securities operations, including fund asset management, settlement, custody, and corporate actions
- Understanding of Instruction Capture processes, tools and the end to end transaction lifecycle and operating model
- Understanding of metrics, data driven change - tracking and evidencing performance using data and ability to drill into Root Cause to drive remediation
- Strong business knowledge for Fund Accounting, Middle Office Services, Custody, & Trading Services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to draw actionable insights from complex datasets and drive results
- Leadership capabilities and the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their best
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude’ and contribute to an energetic and motivated team environment with a strong sense of urgency and work ethic
