We are excited to announce an incredible opportunity to join our team in Ballydine. We are seeking an ADC API Laboratory Leader. People Management will be a key part of this role. The successful candiate will be responsible for the following key areas:

• Providing analytical support to the API Facility, which includes Raw Material, API Intermediates, In Process, Utilities/Environmental, Cleaning, and API testing. This role also includes responsibility for environmental monitoring sampling.
• Ensuring strict adherence to cGMP for all quality testing activities, including supporting regulatory filings and taking the lead as auditee.
• Leading improvement projects and utilizing Lean tools such as Tier, Leader Standard Work, Problem Solving, and Standard Work to achieve targets. This entails reducing process variability and eliminating waste.
• Demonstrating technical expertise and taking on a leadership role in laboratory activities.
• Collaborating within the API Integrated Process Team (IPT) to meet shared responsibilities for inventory, cost, cycle-time, and customer service targets. Managing events that impact these targets and actively contributing to team objectives.
• Mentoring laboratory personnel and providing guidance in terms of professional development and career paths.
• Participating as a valuable member of the Analytical Development & Commercialization (ADC) Leadership Team, supporting overall management and leadership of the entire ADC department.
• Contributing to the operationalization of the new potent API Laboratory.

Core Competencies:

• A B.Sc. (or equivalent experience base) in analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical science, or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Proven skills in problem solving, communication, and people management.
• A solid understanding of analytical methodology, process optimization support needs, and familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements, including GMPs (preferred).
• The ability to lead a laboratory team, collaborate effectively with partners across IPT and ADC, and manage competing priorities.
• Preferred skills in Lean/6-sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with potent analysis methodologies is advantageous.
