Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure primarily using C++17.

Compile and build applications on both Linux and Windows systems for various architectures.

Design and implement low-level software components with a strong understanding of design patterns.

Break down system designs into class and flow diagrams.

Deliver high-quality code with comprehensive unit and automation tests.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software applications.

Understand performance parameters and assess application performance

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

Technical Expertise:

• Extensive expertise in the latest C++ standards (C++11, C++14, C++17, C++20), with a proven track record of implementing these standards in complex projects.

• Deep familiarity with widely-used C++ libraries such as Boost, STL (Standard Template Library), and Qt, including experience in contributing to or maintaining these libraries.

• Proven experience in designing and developing plug-and-play C++ libraries, with a focus on scalability and performance.

• Comprehensive understanding of build methodologies for C++ code on both Linux and Windows systems, utilizing tools like CMake, Make, and Visual Studio, and optimizing build processes for large-scale applications.

• Extensive experience in writing and maintaining unit, component, and integration tests using frameworks such as GTest and CppUnit, with a focus on ensuring code quality and reliability.

• Knowledge of cryptography and certificate management is a must

• Advanced knowledge of Python, including the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and experience with key Python libraries for automation and scripting.

• Expertise in automating deployment processes and ensuring consistent environments across multiple stages and regions using CI/CD best practices, with extensive experience in source control tools like GIT/GITLAB and in leading CI/CD pipeline implementations.

• Strong experience in software design and architecture, including designing scalable and maintainable systems, creating architectural diagrams, and leading design reviews.

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.

• Leadership and mentoring experience, guiding junior developers and fostering a collaborative team environment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with version control systems, particularly Gitlab

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
