As a key member of the Site Leadership Team, you will report directly to the Site Leader and collaborate closely with leaders across Advanced Engineering, and Lean Operations. Together, you will ensure the effective execution of change initiatives that propel our organization forward.
Your responsibilities will include managing and driving both new and existing projects to deploy an end-to-end transformative program across our manufacturing sites in line with the broader Productivity Program plan. You will spearhead initiatives designed to enhance organizational productivity, overseeing the entire productivity funnel process, unlocking value stream capacity through Lean, Automation, Digital & Capex to meet demand for API and final product..
In this role, you will be accountable for translating high-level objectives into actionable and scalable program plans, ensuring consistent communication and transparency throughout the organization, all while staying aligned with our transformation roadmap. You will unlock value stream capacity through Lean, Automation, Digital, and Capex initiatives, enabling us to meet the growing demand for API and final products.

Interfacing across several workstreams, this role serves as an
, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships across the enterprise, while having a solid understanding of the pipeline of productivity initiatives and ongoing opportunities.

Also serves as a coach to workstream leaders to help keep pace andestablish metrics and KPIs to measure the success of all initiatives.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to prioritize work in alignment with the transformation roadmap and one vision strategy, conducts root-cause analysis, analyses data, develops innovative solutions, and proposes implementation plans.
  • Manage the allocation of resources (people, budget, technology) to transformation initiatives, ensuring that they are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Facilitate discussions across workstreams to address risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Assist with removal of barriers or blockers for workstream partners along the journey.
  • Participate in routine workstream meetings for ongoing general support and guidance.
  • Work closely with Finance on planning, analysing, tracking, and reporting monthly value add business plans.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement, overseeing the implementation of productivity initiatives, and ensuring that these efforts align with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Scale up and accelerateResearch, Development & Innovationactivity to understand and utilise the many funding and collaboration options bybuilding the relevant network across universities, potential industry partners and local funding bodies.
  • Prepares executive-level presentations; serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for the preparation of executive-level presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creates space to ensure the senior leadership team has the time and resources to execute plans and programs, assess resources, and articulate the link between strategy and action.

Qualifications/ Key Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in supply chain management, manufacturing operations, or productivity roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and processes, preferably in sterile and/or aseptic manufacturing processes.
  • Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to develop and execute complex transformation strategies in a manufacturing or similar environment. Experience leading large-scale change initiatives in a regulated environment.
  • Change Management: Deep expertise in change management methodologies and frameworks, with a proven ability to drive cultural and operational change. Experience in managing the human side of change, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and managing resistance.
  • Operational Effectiveness: Strong understanding of Lean, Kaizen, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies, with a track record of applying these to drive operational effectiveness. Experience optimizing production processes, technology implementation, and layout design to achieve capacity expansion goals.
  • Project Management: Extensive experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization. Experience working with cross-functional teams and corporate functions, ensuring alignment and collaboration on transformation initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Passion for continuous improvement, with a relentless focus on identifying opportunities to optimize processes, reduce waste, and drive value. Ability to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging employees at all levels to contribute ideas and solutions.
