As a Compliance Risk Senior Associate within J.P. Morgan (Suisse) SA, you will provide oversight and challenge on AML matters across our business. You will support the production and delivery of materials for internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams, delivering training, and influencing positive changes within the department. You will utilize your analytical skills and technology expertise to enhance productivity and decision-making.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and challenge to the Business in relation to AML matters.
- Support production and delivery of materials in response to examinations by internal and external auditors.
- Provide AML, sanctions, and financial crime oversight to the Line of Business, including front office and operations.
- Support AML governance forums and ensure timely escalation of financial crime-related matters to senior management.
- Oversee changes to local policies and procedures in response to changes in firm policies, local laws, and regulations.
- Deliver training on subject matter topics and keep abreast of local regulatory developments.
- Support the delivery of the annual Politically Exposed Person review and other client reviews linked to regulatory deliverables.
- Provide administrative support for reporting on AML governance metrics.
- Support production of critical analysis of data to improve problem-solving and decision-making.
- Utilize large language models and other technology to improve productivity.
- Use judgment to clearly and concisely present conclusions from data analysis and associated risk.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Proficient in Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting, financial services industry, or government agency/regulatory body experience (MROS, FINMA).
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure with a commitment to deliver under tight deadlines.
- Set individual priorities based on team goals; deliver expected work with a sense of urgency; solve problems and share ideas for improvement.
- English language on the advanced level.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Coding and program management platforms are a plus.
- Qualification in accounting, finance, law, project management, or technology is a plus.
- Languages: French, Russian, Spanish, or Arabic are a plus.
