Develop a deep understanding of customer applications and market trends.
Identify high-potential customers and market segments and develop market penetration strategies.
Define and drive account acquisition and retention strategies.
Meet and exceed key business targets such as sales orders, revenue, customer satisfaction and retention, and new business development.
Establish and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
Drive customer support and interaction throughout the sales process, including providing trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
Work with our Field Application Engineer, drive customer demos and testing in Nokia or customer labs. Support design-in and debug activities.
Work closely with PLM and R&D to understand the product and provide direct feedback on customer needs. Incorporate customer feedback and test results into future solutions.
Promote the company’s products, addressing customer upcoming requirements. Translate customer requirements and specification to product requirements. Articulate a clear, differentiated, compelling value proposition.
Present product and marketing overviews at trade shows, kick-offs, webinars, etc.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business development or sales in the telecom/networking industry, with direct experience working with telecom and datacenter solutions and customers.
Significant experience in new market penetration and account management in the datacom and telecom industries.
Highly organized, with excellent reporting, presenting, influencing and negotiating skills.
Demonstrated record of effective customer/account relationship management.
Strong, direct relationships with system vendors, transceiver manufacturers, component vendors, and telecom and datacom customers.
Experience with silicon photonics, high-speed electro-optics and coherent transceiver modules.
Experience in a cross-functional role, collaborating with Development, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and other partners.
Fluent Mandarin and English (both written and spoken).
Ability to travel 25-40%
