Java Technical Leader with German for Banking competency
Hybrid model: 2 days office / 3 days remote
Your key responsibilities
- Need to work as a Technical Lead to contribute in various technical streams of banking projects.
- Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators.
- Planning and monitoring of the project deliverables from the team.
- Mentor the project team in executing the identified projects.
- Willing to travel to the customers locations on need basis.
- Participating in the organization-wide people initiatives.
- Issues Management (identification, investigation, resolution, escalation, follow-up).
- Performing unit testing of developed modules and components to assure high quality.
Skills and attributes for success
- Excellent knowledge of Java supported by 5+ years of professional experience.
- Familiar with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate / JPA and Maven.
- Hands on experience working with REST and SOAP web services.
- Very good knowledge of SQL and one of database engines.
- Excellent knowledge of Git.
- Good English language verbal and written communication.
- Experience working in international projects.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, other Technical qualification.
- 5+ years in a corporate IT environment in a similar positions.
- Excellent business communication skills.
- 3+ years of banking experience.
- Minimum B2 German level
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Camunda Platform is an advantage.
- Hands on experience working with microservices architecture.
- Experience working with AWS or Azure cloud products and services.
- Certificates proving certain skills: Java, Spring, SQL, AWS or Azure Cloud.
- Experience in agile / scrum methodology.
