Java Technical Leader with German for Banking competency

Hybrid model: 2 days office / 3 days remote

Your key responsibilities

• Need to work as a Technical Lead to contribute in various technical streams of banking projects.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators.
• Planning and monitoring of the project deliverables from the team.
• Mentor the project team in executing the identified projects.
• Willing to travel to the customers locations on need basis.
• Participating in the organization-wide people initiatives.
• Issues Management (identification, investigation, resolution, escalation, follow-up).
• Performing unit testing of developed modules and components to assure high quality.

Skills and attributes for success

• Excellent knowledge of Java supported by 5+ years of professional experience.
• Familiar with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate / JPA and Maven.
• Hands on experience working with REST and SOAP web services.
• Very good knowledge of SQL and one of database engines.
• Excellent knowledge of Git.
• Good English language verbal and written communication.
• Experience working in international projects.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, other Technical qualification.
• 5+ years in a corporate IT environment in a similar positions.
• Excellent business communication skills.
• 3+ years of banking experience.
• Minimum B2 German level

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Camunda Platform is an advantage.
• Hands on experience working with microservices architecture.
• Experience working with AWS or Azure cloud products and services.
• Certificates proving certain skills: Java, Spring, SQL, AWS or Azure Cloud.
• Experience in agile / scrum methodology.
