Automation Lead, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Design and code applications automation solutions for different environment (development, testing & production) and code automated scripts. Create a user interface to provide interface for the individual to create & execute automated scripts. Create Application Life Cycle Management (ALM) web service to connect it to the test management tool. Build automated scripts for smoke test & configure these scripts with Jenkins pipeline to provide the continuous testing for the automated applications builds. Create batch job to execute automated scripts for nightly execution and configure the system to alert the assigned team in case of any failure of the test. Translate business requirement into technical requirement and design documents, establish specific solutions, and lead these efforts including developing framework and testing that culminate in client success. Utilize at least seven (7) of the following 11 tools/skills: Java, QTP, Scrum, QA processes and practices for test data management, Jira, Selenium, Github, SDLC, Soap, Rest-Based Webservices, and Jenkins. Required: Masters degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Masters degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Development Lead or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing at least seven (7) of the following 11 tools/skills: Java, QTP, Scrum, QA processes and practices for test data management, Jira, Selenium, Github, SDLC, Soap, Rest-Based Webservices, and Jenkins.$169,229.00 to $188,200.00 per year.
