Day to day coverage of production equipment: respond to equipment issues, unplanned downtime and production requests quickly and efficiently to maximize equipment availability
Diagnose equipment failures, perform 1st line troubleshooting and escalate equipment failures to Maintenance/Equipment Engineers timeously
Plan, prioritize and perform preventative maintenance tasks and schedules utilizing the Maintenance Management System(FLUX) and Maintain spare parts inventory
Work closely with the Equipment Engineers to build new equipment as well as perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds
Work with Engineering and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures and minimize equipment downtime
Drive continuous improvement and develop countermeasures to prevent (repetitive) breakdowns
Follow all aspects of Maintenance Safety protocol (LOTO, 5S, ESD protection, etc.), to ensure that the maintenance team operates safely and always leads by example
What You’ll Bring
High School diploma in technical direction or a comparable qualification
Minimum of 2 years' experience as an equipment maintenance technician/ service technician/ diagnostics technician/ technician in a comparable field
Must have expertise in one trade, proficiency in others, and the willingness to learn additional, Relevant practical experience and knowledge of Mechanical Systems, Electronics, interpreting mechanical and electrical schematic diagrams, Troubleshooting, Pneumatics, hydraulics, Panel building and wiring
Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Good overall computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays when required and must be willing to work in a shift pattern
