What you will do
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing strategic sales plans for sustainability propositions, achieving revenue targets and leading business development from initial prospecting to closure. This involves pipeline development, analysis, and recommendations for growth, as well as support of the major pursuits.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients by identifying their sustainability needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Ensuring exceptional client service is incorporated in all external and internal encounters.
- Fostering a strong internal identity and community around EY Sustainability, promoting knowledge sharing, success stories, cross-service line collaboration, and increased awareness of EY’s sustainability offerings.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor actions to guide strategic decision-making and maximize growth opportunities.
- Collaborating with the campaign team and cross-functional business teams to implement successful sustainability initiatives and initiate major events and partnerships at local and international levels.
- Representing EY Sustainability at national and international events, raising our profile in the market.
- Continuously identifying and proposing solutions for operational improvements.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in business development and sales in similar fields and organizations.
- Proven strategic leader with expertise in shaping GTM strategies and driving change.
- Track record of delivering growth in complex B2B environments.
- Strong collaborator and influencer across teams.
- Trusted advisor who builds client relationships that deliver long-term value.
- Strong communicator able to engage senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Analytical, KPI-driven, and data-oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet sales targets.
- Flexible, hands-on mindset, especially in the first years of launching the new approach.

- Bicycle arrangement: finance the purchase cost of your new bicycle from your gross monthly salary (purchase cost amount divided over 12 months) or from your non-statutory holiday entitlement.
- Pension scheme: you will build up pension capital directly after you start at EY. Each month the available premium amount is transferred to you in an investment account at our pension provider. Pre-employment screening
Due to laws and regulations, and because EY (and in some cases its clients) has high demand in terms of the reliability and integrity of its employees, every new employee will be screened. Depending on your rank the pre employment screening could contain the following: Certificate of Conduct (in Dutch: VOG) or - if requesting a Dutch VOG is not possible - Criminal Background Check of the country you are currently living or have lived during the last five years, integrity questionnaire, verification of ID, diploma’s and/or work experience and consultation of the Dutch insolvency registry.
