Maintenance Engineer
(Must be proficient in either Electrical or Mechanical maintenance)Electrical Maintenance:
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of HV/MV/LV panels, Circuit Breakers, RMUs, Transformers, VFDs, Motors, Battery systems, and UPS systems.
• Execute non-destructive testing including Thermography, Partial Discharge Testing, and Ultrasonic Testing.Mechanical/HVAC maintenance:
• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC equipment including DX units, Split AC systems, Ductable AC units, VRF systems, and AHUs.
• Service Chilled Water Systems including Chillers, Pumps, Motorized valves, Dampers, and Chemical dosing systems.
• Maintain Fire Safety Systems. Fire suppression and Fire extinguishing systems.
•. Perform Generator maintenance including A, B, C, and D checks.Planning & Documentation:
• Prepare and manage 52-week preventive maintenance calendars.
• Develop and update MOPs and SOPs. Create detailed equipment checklists. Track observations and implement cost-saving innovations.
• Execute cluster-level equipment maintenance.
• Document and report equipment observations. Proactive corrective maintenance as required.
• Coordinate with asset management team for maintenance scope enhancement/changes.
• Ensure adequate spares availability.
A day in the life
Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Provide operational readings and key performance indicators to make sure uptime is maintained.
• Responsible for the on-site management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work performed is in accordance with established practices, procedures & local legislation.
• Perform and oversee maintenance on all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and conduct regular equipment inspection rounds.
• Respond to alerts and alarms, ensuring quick resolution to maintain facility uptime
• Work closely with operations teams, vendors, and technical program managers for maintenance activities.
• Document all maintenance activities, update logs, and maintain accurate equipment records.
• Participate in team discussions to improve processes and implement innovative solutions while ensuring 24/7 facility reliability.Diverse Experiences

Basic Qualifications

- High school or equivalent diploma
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, or experience from a technical internship
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in data center/manufacturing industries/power plants/steel plants operations or mission critical facility.


Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations including systems such as feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAC units
