Job Purpose
This individual will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, summarizing data from various sources, synthesize findings, develop, and present conclusions & recommendations to internal stakeholders, including C-level executives.
Create, maintain, and periodically validate market sizes and growth trends. Develop top-down/ bottom-up market analyses.
Perform detailed competitive intelligence profiles for selected competitors – covering financials, strategy, portfolio, partnerships etc. Develop implications and recommendations.
Work with Strategy Directors/ Senior Leaders to identify, scope and structure key strategic initiatives, develop data needs/ requirement and workplans.
Develop relationships with external research agencies. Interact with research suppliers on market reports, market data, primary research queries. Apply rigor in defining research briefs, pressure testing research methodologies and data quality provided by 3rd parties.
Structure, prepare, and present well-designed and logical documents to senior management.
Manage and execute special projects as directed by senior leadership.
7-8 years of working experience, preferably in market research, analytics, competitive intelligence, strategy, or related roles.
2-3 years of experience in a premier marketing organization, management/ senior leadership facing role.
Solid analytical skills. Comfortable with quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Excellent verbal/ written communication skills. Outstanding English.
Presentation skills – ability to deliver presentations and engage audience.
Ability to interact with people across various levels of the organization, comfortable with C-suite audiences.

MBA
Experience in automating updates for large datasets (e.g., using python scripts)
Experience in a top-tier market research/ management consulting/ B2B environment
