About the

a highly motivated, self-driven individual withMachine Learning andinternship positionAI for Chip Design, thus merging physics with Machine Learning techniques.

• Develop and implement Machine Learningalgorithms, focusing on the exploration of novel and efficient algorithms fordesignoptimization.

• Design relevant data structures for problems driven by physical models in the context of designoptimization

• Propose performancemetrics andidentifylimitations of themodels

• Writereports and give presentations for internalaudience

• Publishpapersin top-tiervenues

• Write code to support research, usually in Python and/orC++

• Work closely with a team of AI researchers and engineers in the US, Switzerland, and Japan on ambitious AI

• cutting-edgeAI technology and deploy it through a multi-stakeholderapproach

• Background in Machine Learning (B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D.) and relevant work/researchexperienceontopics related toDesign Optimization

• Solid programming skills using Python, as well as frameworks such asPyTorch

• Excellent oral and written English
