This position is for an experienced Hot End Exhaust Design and Release (D&R) Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for design and release activities, coordination of supplier deliverables, and quality/warranty issue resolution associated with hot end exhaust systems/subsystems on current and forward model applications.

In this position...

Work through the process of taking sheet metal (Steel & Aluminum) from early FEAS to running at rate in the stamping plants.

This includes early transfer studies for FEAS, working with processing and die design groups to create Automation Start Package for die design, die checks to ensure proper clearance, follow automation through design and build phases, perform simulations for the creation of curve profiles and output files for download to the press, support in person launch with automation and curves until running at rate.

The High Voltage Electrical Distribution Systems Design and Release (HV EDS D&R) Engineer is responsible for the design, development, validation, and release of the High Voltage (HV) wiring harnesses under their responsibility. This role involves a comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering principles, high voltage safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams from concept to production. The HV EDS D&R Engineer will also be responsible for driving design improvements that lead to increased quality and optimizations in cost and weight. The ideal candidate will ensure that all high voltage designs meet performance, cost, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements for the product.

The candidate will work with internal and external customers to develop competitive cost & weight efficient designs. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible to engineer the required CAD and lead analytical and physical analysis to deliver a system that will meet all prescribed requirements. As the program matures, responsibilities will shift to product testing, delivering PSW, and launching within one of Ford’s many assembly plants.

As an Aftermarket Product Operations Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive analytical support for managing the parts cycle plan, including forecasting and performance tracking.
• Conducting data-driven evaluations of market suppliers in collaboration with Purchasing to identify optimal solutions and business models that enhance profitability.
• Analyzing sales performance and market penetration data, identifying trends and opportunities to meet sales objectives and drive market share.
• Supporting the project management of product launches by providing critical data, insights, and tracking for the RACI matrix across all new product introductions.
• Developing data-driven inputs for pricing strategies based on comprehensive market evaluations to maximize revenue and margin.
• Performing comprehensive post-launch analysis to evaluate product performance, identify areas for optimization, and assess financial impact.
• Collaborating with and providing essential analytical support to various support functions, including PS&L (Parts Supply & Logistics), SEO (Service Engineering Operations), Manufacturing, and Finance, to ensure the successful delivery of product objectives and financial goals.
