Responsibilities:

The Business Banking Relationship Manager is an outside sales role and will require the incumbent to be in the field at least 80% of the time
Has proven success in consultative sales in financial services or in business-to-business sales

In this role you will:
Coach, direct, and manage the sales activities of a small group of residential Private Mortgage Bankers under the direction of a Non-Producing Private Mortgage Banking Manager
Supervise individual contributors by directing and managing sales activities to ensure high level of customer service, timely completion, quality, and compliance in Private Mortgage Banking Sales
Produce high quality loans that meet Wells Fargo Home Mortgage guidelines by building relationships with realtors, builders, financial planners, bank stores, past customers, and other nontraditional sources while providing excellent customer service
Make supervisory decisions and resolve issues related to team supervision, work allocation, financial resources, and daily operations; manage personal and team’s pipeline to effectively manage customer loyalty
Leverage interpretation of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements while negotiating terms and taking applications
Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development in low complexity functional areas
Interact directly with external customers as well as collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers
Stay informed of mortgage industry trends and developments in the assigned market and develop and maintain a high degree of visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the marketplace
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Private Mortgage Banking Sales
Be responsible for selection, evaluation, and development of staff within Private Mortgage Banking Sales
This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Mortgage Retail Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
1+ years of Leadership experience

Mortgage industry experience
Knowledge and understanding of sales prospecting and generating referrals
Documented retail residential mortgage purchase fundings over the past 12 months referred primarily from established, local, external sources
Experience working with ultra-high net-worth clients
1 + year of recruiting experience
1+ year of data analysis experience
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Customer service experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
A BS/BA degree or higher

1. Applying NLS errors to loans from nightly processing of payments
2. Reversing returned customer payments from NLS accounts
3. Balancing lender accounts for payments that came in the previous day
4. Processing customer payments that come to the local office address. This includes going through incoming mail, sorting checks by lender, scanning them through the remote depositing machine and batching/posting the payments to NLS.
5. Aiding in book keeping of daily Balancing Reports and Single point Transactions
6. Closes accounts in NLS for loans that are paid in full
7. Downloading all check images that are processed at the lockbox sites for all sites
8. Generating all bifurcation sheets for the lenders based on a specific transaction date for customer payments
9. Completing daily account activities including remiitting daily wires to Lenders, daily book transfers, uploading all daily bifurcation sheets to the FTP site for each Lender, daily systems entries for the Dealer Disbursement account,
10. Completing Monthly systems entries for the 1409 account
11. Completing requests from the Collections department to adjust customers' payments on accounts
12. Completing requests to stop Epay recurring payments
13. Handling any US Bank lockbox site related processing errors
14. Converting customers' promotional accounts to "OUT" should they not pay off the promotional balance within the promotional period
15. Initiating daily dealer rebates for Funding Schedules
16. Answering Lender questions based on money that has been remitted
17. Processing the nightly payments
