The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be$90,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engage and work strategically with C-Suite and business decision makers, physicians, Advanced Practice Practitioners and support personnel at provider practices and sites of care.
  • Serve as the primary contact for reimbursement support and education regarding billing, coding, documentation requirements, national and local coverage policies.
  • Partner with Territory Managers to educate, monitor and open new accounts.
  • Navigate payer contracting discussion with facilities and physicians to ensure financially viable programs.
  • Prepare and conduct Intracept Program Reviews utilizing patient access data to determine strategies to improve program processes and patient access to care.
  • Train field sales organization, physicians/staff and key stake holders on the reimbursement landscape, patient access tools and resources. Frequent presentations for up to 50 people at a time.
  • Identification and education and support regarding billing and coding issues and resolution.
  • Strategically interacting with commercial payers to open access to care for the Intracept procedure.
  • Secure home office space with ability to protect HIPAA sensitive materials.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of market access experience required, including patient access programs and payer coverage efforts.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting field-based sales roles.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, including some weekends. (Depending upon location, driving within 4 hours from home, plus air travel. Weekends required one to two times per quarter. Must be near major airport hub).
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams (Candidate must be able to write effective customer communications and build/edit PowerPoint presentations and Excel files).
  • Ability to work in a CRM system, such as Salesforce, to document work activities and utilize reports and data to direct strategy.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Salesforce experience is a plus.Tableau experience is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of medical device industry experience preferred.
  • Billing and coding certification is preferred.
