In this role you’ll perform computer aided drafting and basic design of water/wastewater projects. You’ll use your experience to produce drawings, create layouts, sketches, and 2D/3D modeling if applicable. You’ll also prepare drawings and sketches using CAD workstations, appropriate design criteria, and technical manuals often working closely with engineers to coordinate designs. This position is a non-exempt role and paid hourly.

We are looking for Water Designer CAD Intern interested in working on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects including waste water treatment plant design and other water infrastructure related projects. You’ll work with the best Digital Delivery Leads, Professional Engineers and Project Managers in the business. We want you to be empowered to deliver the bold solutions for everyday living.

You will be accountable for production and technical quality of challenging CAD design tasks, as you gain familiarity with 2D drafting, 3D modeling and CAD file management. You will have opportunities to learn different disciplines (civil, structural, process mechanical, electrical, ect.) and see how they all come together to create a coordinated drawing package. You will be surrounded by the expert mentorship of Senior CAD Designers and Professional Engineers, with plenty of opportunities to help you thrive in your new career.
