Job Description

When you join TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job.

This 7-month experience aims to teach Technical Sales Associates (TSAs) how to build and manage customer relationships, and how to influence decisions to grow TI's revenue. The track includes three rotations*:

Upon successful completion of this track in the FAST program, participants are welcomed as Technical Sales Representatives (TSRs) on TI's Worldwide Sales & Applications team. TSR responsibilities include:

  • Using technical expertise, various sales tools and relationships with engineering teams to identify projects
  • Managing and quantifying leads, and managing the commercial aspects of customer relationships
  • Developing, forecasting and monitoring an annual plan for revenue growth

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field
  • Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively balance strong technical skills with solid relationship-building capabilities
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written, verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people across various functions
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

  • Conduct annual market assessment and take ownership for the quality of market data used to guide decision-making

  • Periodically review the competitiveness and effectiveness of our C&B components in defined Asia countries and make recommendations to close any gaps if required
  • Establish tools and channels which empower HR business partners and line Specialists with the necessary knowledge to make effective reward decisions
  • Develop, recommend and implement employee benefit plans and policies
  • Execute the functional processes, such as, but not limited to, the annual focal review cycle (CRP), annual benefits enrollments, insurance renewals, etc.
  • Partner with operations and communications teams to ensure efficient execution, implementation and communication of benefits programs
  • Drive country-specific C&B analysis, initiatives, or projects that enhance TI defined Asia countries’ C&B competitiveness or operational efficiency.
  • Drive the right balance between corporate and local considerations (i.e. Deploy our corporate rewards strategy within the country while ensuring that local market dynamics are appropriately factored)
  • Network internally and externally as the go-to knowledge expert for everything related to compensation and benefits within defined Asia countries
  • Manage and direct external vendors and consultants and appropriately influence vendor processes and operations to achieve the best outcomes for TI
  • Proactively monitor regulatory changes related to benefits and interface with subject matter experts in legal, accounting, payroll, and other functions to identify and resolve issues.

Support responsibilities:

  • Provide real-time consulting to HR business partners, staffing team and line Specialists related to offers, counter-offers, payroll transfers, and other routine frontline HR activities
  • Research and analyze comp/benefit plan trends, utilization patterns and demographic issues; develop appropriate plans or programs to address issues.
  • Work with defined HR countries HR team to design local policy documents and effective governance process flows and checks
  • Provide ongoing education and training to business HR, line Specialists and employees
  • Provide ad-hoc support (or lead) regional projects that may arise from time-to-time (e.g. Regional practice or policy alignment)
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Above 2 years related work experience

Analog Field Applications Engineer (AFAE)


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Help TI secure customer commitments and win business by working on-site with customers in support of their engineering teams developing applications
  • Recommend and implement system analog solutions to customers in a consultative role have strong embedded software development skills
  • Solve customer technical challenges from system perspectives
  • Build up customer relationship and maximize TI product contents in customer’s applications
  • Work together with sales force in driving revenue growth
  • Take customer designs to revenue by providing prompt and thorough support for on-going design activity
  • Understand the competitor landscape; constantly applying lessons from customer engagement to refine this competitor understanding
  • Use competitor knowledge to tailor feedback to the product group for new product/feature development
  • Understand the specific business benefits that such feature/product enhancements will produce
  • Identify product gap in the marketplace and provide new product opportunity to headquarter business unit
  • Present at TI technical conferences and facilitate product specific customer trainings (seminars/workshops)

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in EE/Comp Eng, or comparable
  • At least 2 years of experience in Analog disciplines applicable to our customer's end equipment spaces such as BMS, Automotive, AC to DC/ DC to DC power designs
  • Experience with design, analysis, and debug of related circuits or sub-systems

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of power electronics principles, including topologies like AC/DC, DC/DC and DC/AC converters.
  • Proficiency in the design and analysis of power supply systems, including high-frequency magnetic components and EMI/EMC compliance
  • Familiarity with power semiconductor devices such as MOSFETs. IGBTs, and GaN/SiC technology
  • Experience with simulation tools like SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink or PLECS.
  • Experience with layout placement, layout review and familiarity w/ layout tools such as Altium Designer or Candance Allegro
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers to solve their complete analog system requirements utilizing TI components
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to proactively drive customer activity
  • Ability to work with multiple sales resources and field and factory-based technical resources to develop a winning solution for the customer
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, with ability to effectively relate materials to customers
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions

This 7-month experience aims to teach Technical Sales Associates (TSAs) how to build and manage customer relationships, and how to influence decisions to grow TI's revenue. The track includes three rotations*:

Upon successful completion of this track in the FAST program, participants are welcomed as Technical Sales Representatives (TSRs) on TI's Worldwide Sales & Applications team. TSR responsibilities include:

  • Using technical expertise, various sales tools and relationships with engineering teams to identify projects
  • Managing and quantifying leads, and managing the commercial aspects of customer relationships
  • Developing, forecasting and monitoring an annual plan for revenue growth

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field
  • Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively balance strong technical skills with solid relationship-building capabilities
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written, verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people across various functions
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
