Your experience and qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience as a business analyst managing multiple small to mid-sized projects with an understanding of digital offerings, including Power Platform, RPA and ML / AI capabilities
  • Computer skills, especially with Project management software (Planisware, Jira, and/or Confluence), Excel, Powerpoint
  • Must demonstrate ability to solve moderately complex problems and analyze and apply appropriate solutions. Identifies and solves problems by gathering and applying information from a variety of sources

How you’ll spend your day
  • Provide professional investigative forensic accounting service and support to the Office of Business Integrity (OBI) by directing, planning, and carrying out sensitive and complex investigations regarding reports of financial misconduct or fraud, as assigned, ensuring all allegations are confidentially and properly addressed.
  • Evaluate and apply in-depth forensic accounting knowledge in proportion to the allegation and its implications; Determine the investigative efforts required based on the scope and depth of fact-finding needed. Work cross functionally at the business level in sometimes complex or unclear environments.
  • Interact with all levels within the organization and conduct investigations with utmost discretion, objectivity and sensitivity.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on forensic accounting investigative techniques. Maintain expert knowledge FCPA regulations and other specific requirements imposed by government agencies.
  • Create high quality written investigative reports in support of the overall complaint handling process.
  • Report risks and deficiencies, identify trends and partner with management to identify improvements to protect Teva and its assets (people, property, product and proprietary information).
  • Assist with OBI program management responsibilities, as needed, including but not limited to, coordinating consistent responses to reported cases of misconduct, general case management within the hotline reporting system and providing reporting, statistics and trending for key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to Global Compliance & Ethics’ mission by promoting Teva Values, the Code of Conduct and promoting the OBI as an independent, confidential and trusted resource for employees to report concerns.
  • Provide awareness training and support OBI initiatives across the globe, as needed.
  • Follow Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Your experience and qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Masters or Other Advanced or Professional Degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance-related)
  • 8 – 10 years overall experience required including: 5+ years of general accounting and audit experience and 5+ years of forensic accounting experience required; in a global pharmaceutical or healthcare company preferred
  • Direct experience independently conducting international bribery and corruption investigations, including leading sensitive forensic interviews, drafting concise investigation reports and communicating with key stakeholders.
  • 5+ years in the pharmaceutical or health care industry environment with compliance and investigations related experience.
  • Experience with a “Big Four” accounting firm
  • Bilingual / Multi-lingual preferred.
  • Knowledge of the applicable regulations related to government authorities as well as state, local and federal laws governing compliance investigations (FCPA). Professional license required in an accounting or compliance related field (CPA, CFE, CIA, CCEP, etc.).
  • Continual advancement / operational knowledge of forensic accounting and investigative techniques in order to continually align with developing risks. Advanced knowledge of typical fraud schemes.
  • Superior writing skills are required. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Prepare documents that are clearly and concisely written. The responsibilities and complexity of this position require strong and effective communication skills. The individual must possess the ability to professionally interact with all levels of Teva’s corporate infrastructure, as well as that of our business partners, vendors, and all levels of government authorities and law enforcement.
  • Possesses a depth of expertise in investigations management and administration areas. Effectively identifies and understands changes in the risk environment, is able to suggest modifications to investigative methodologies, practices and procedures as appropriate.
  • Demonstrates an ability to set and articulate strategy, drive critical decision making, influence others, and obtain accurate and positive results. Ability to facilitate cross-functional groups to coordinate efforts and elicit efficient responses.

Primary purpose of the position

As Business Controller you work closely together with the Country Finance Lead and key stakeholders in the business to provide financial analysis & reporting, leadership and control on the commercial and financial activities in the geography, enabling effective decision making and strengthening compliance with relevant rules and procedures. Specifically:

  • You own the Management Forecasting and Actual reporting process , from the Long Range Plan to the Annual Operating Plan, quarterly Rolling Forecast and monthly actual reporting, variance analysis and Upsides/Downsides identification
  • You are the Business Partner for the Gx Business Unit and Ix Business Unit , providing financial insight and enabling effective decision-making that improves business performance and enhances sustainable competitiveness (e.g., Brand profitability, Sales & Marketing Expense ROI analysis and budget control, Portfolio decisions etc)
  • You are a critical contributor to compliance with relevant financial guidelines (rules, regulations and corporate policies)

Planning, Forecasting and Management P&L Reporting for the country:

  • Own the business planning process for the country (Gx & Ix), i.e. setting up meetings and templates etc to develop financial plans (AOP, RF, LRP), thereby ensuring that business and financial drivers are transparent and risks and opportunities are clearly identified.
  • Set-up and maintain an efficient Management reporting (and planning) system for the country based on SAP BI as well as Hyperion system (Essbase/SmartView) as well as local tools & files.
  • Provide professional insight, based on management reports and analysis, to the business unit, the cluster-leadership and Corporate Finance, ensuring a coherent financial picture that supports business decision management (e.g. clarity on drivers of deviation vs. AOP/RF etc.)

Business Partnership for the Gx/Ix Business Unit in the country:

  • Develop and manage relationships with local business partners across all parts of the Gx/Ix Business Unit (Gx, Rx, Hx and OTC/Consumer Health Care), gain business understanding and provide insights based on financial data (e.g. gross margin analysis, brand profitability etc) that help in managing the business and improving the portfolio.
  • Provide insight and guidance to the leadership team to support strategic planning and decision making regarding business opportunities and the company's pipeline.

Financial Compliance:

  • Collaborate with the Finance Lead and the Accounting staff in the country to implement all applicable rules & regulations and internal policies (e.g. SOX, local tax regulations, corporate policies) and follow-up to ensure adherence.

People & Organization:

  • Collaborate with Europe Controlling and the other markets’ business controllers to ensure adherence and quality in all routine Controlling Europe tasks (e.g. monthly Preliminary Net Sales submission, FTE submission, LBE submission etc).
  • Actively share experience with other controllers in the cluster to continuously improve efficiency.

Academic background

  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Economics or Finance & Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience

Experience and knowledge

  • For external candidates: A minimum of 2–4 years of relevant professional experience is required, ideally in the Pharmaceutical or FMCG sector within a mid to large matrix organization or a renowned auditing firm.
  • For internal candidates: While prior experience in a similar role is an advantage, we also welcome applications from colleagues who demonstrate strong financial acumen, analytical thinking, and a solid understanding of our company’s systems, processes, and values.
  • Additional requirements :
    • Solid knowledge of accounting principles
    • Practical experience in financial planning & analysis
    • Very advanced with Microsoft Excel

• Provide antitrust-related guidance on M&A activities, including regulatory filings and strategic advice.

• Monitor and analyze legal and regulatory developments related to antitrust and competition law across Europe.
• Represent Teva in engagements with competition authorities and other regulatory bodies.

Your experience and qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Admission to practice law in at least one European jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in antitrust or other complex commercial litigation, gained through:
• In-house counsel role within a multinational pharmaceutical company.
• Private practice, ideally focused on competition law and/or other complex commercial litigation within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Work with competition enforcement authorities (e.g., European Commission or national bodies).
• Pharmaceutical litigation and trial experience is highly desirable. Experience with product liability and/or mass tort litigation is also a plus.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
• Proven leadership capabilities with a passion for litigation and a winning mindset.
• Strong work ethic, capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strategic thinker with a high level of intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working across diverse cultures and time zones.

How you’ll spend your day
  • Serve as the site expert on IT Lab systems.

  • Assist users with system administrator tasks as necessary. Work within a local/global support model for day-to-day administration, ensuring data integrity.
  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot local interfaces as needed.
  • Maintain system integrity and ensure backup solutions are in place using standardized solutions from global or local ITMUs.
  • Implement and manage other IT Lab systems as technology improvement demands increase. Collaborate with local business and Global Lab teams to avoid duplication of global solutions.
  • Support projects directed through the ITMU, ensuring alignment and assessing/reporting risks and impacts. Review and consider new ways of working to ensure lean practices during project implementations. Define and roll out comprehensive, realistic training needs/requirements for each project.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for system implementation and maintenance, including GMP, computer systems validation, SOX, security, and risk. Generate and execute validation deliverables.
  • Support regulatory and customer audits.
  • Ensure appropriate service levels for IT Lab systems support are developed, implemented and monitored. Service model should include global teams, external partners, and software providers. Ensure support partners meet defined SLAs and provide timely resolutions.
Your experience and qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in IT within the pharmaceutical industry, or working with pharmaceutical clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in computing, science, or a related field, or equivalent field experience
  • Experience with IT Lab systems in a plus
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
  • Strong process analysis and modelling skills
  • Ability to think and work independently, and collaborate with internal and external project teams effectively
  • Strong IT skills and capabilities with project management
  • Highly self-motivated, adaptable, flexible, and resilient
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Croatian
