- Train and certify others on critical subject matter across supported business lines and curriculum using various teaching methods and environments, including but not limited to facilitating classroom presentations, hands-on activities, virtual training sessions, product demonstrations, and on-the-job coaching
- Conceptualize training that supports business objectives that are specifically designed to enhance knowledge and skill retention
- Continuously evaluate existing training by collecting, reviewing, and sharing feedback with applicable business partners, with a primary focus on training improvement
- Pursue technical knowledge and information to gain a deep understanding of Tesla products and processes by engaging in regular communication with trainers, engineers, business leaders, and frontline employees
- Perform ongoing upskilling by completing all certification programs and regularly completing field work
- Be a respectable and professional representative for Energy Training in all scenarios and environments by upkeeping facility spaces, equipment, and providing support to all learners, special guests, visitors, etc.
- 2+ years of training facilitation or related experience, preferably in a high-tech or product-centric environment
- 5+ years of residential roofing experience, with at least 3+ years related to metal fabrication and applying metal flashing
- Demonstrated understanding of roofing, building envelopes, PV installation, and industry standards
- Strong understanding of, and ability to critically apply, core concepts of training, curriculum development, adult learning theory, etc. in the creation and delivery of training content that is aligned with business needs
- Eagerness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment where objectives and responsibilities may need to quickly adapt to evolving industry needs
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite and related tools for communicating information efficiently
- Up to ~30% travel/offsite activities primarily directly supporting field installation

- Update the company database with relevant notes, necessary documentation, and move jobs forward per company guidelines
- Track open jobs to ensure the project is being moved forward as quickly and efficiently as possible
- Follow-up on jobs in working queue to ensure the job is being moved forward as quickly and efficiently as possible
- Familiarity with PV plan sets preferred. 1-2 years relative work experience in general construction
- Able to organize time and tasks in a fast paced environment. Must be self-motivated and thrive in a team environment. Punctual with appointments and deadlines
- Able to grasp technical concepts and communicate them in an effective manner
- Must be patient but persistent
- Able to set up and secure 20 foot ladders. Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)
- Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and able to work on your feet for long periods of time
- Familiar with OSHA safety rules preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Excellent customer service skills required. Valid driver's license required
