This is a regional role based in Houston, TX will require about 20-30% travel throughout Texas and Mexico region and Spanish language fluency (written and verbal).

• Cultivate robust partnerships with leadership and frontline staff, serving as a pivotal advisor in advancing EHS excellence across SSD operations
• Ensures key risks and compliance requirements pertaining to environmental compliance, occupational health and industrial safety are identified, escalated, and controlled in all phases of automotive product sales, delivery and service and collision operations. Keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization
• Engage with regulatory agencies as necessary, documenting and managing audits and inspections to uphold compliance standards
• Collaborate with teams on technical projects and operational safety
• Supports L.I.F.E. and high-potential event learnings and the creation and completion of actions
• Recruit, train, and empower site EHS ambassadors to implement best practices, conduct inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within day-to-day operations

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience in high tech industry or similar environment
• Prior experience working with electric vehicles, charging products or infrastructure, vehicle delivery or service operations preferred
• Superior knowledge of local, provincial, and federal EHS regulations, industry standards and best practices
• Practical, hands-on experience with EHS policy/procedure development, education and training, risk assessments, event analyses and learning
• Able to influence and communicate effectively with management, EHS leaders, frontline employees, regulators, technical staff, and third-party personnel
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and self-directed

• Coordinate vehicle inventory movement, charging, and cleaning
• Coordinate with registration and logistics teams for plating, and paperwork verification
• Perform vehicle readiness inspections and report vehicle concerns
• Communicate with customers for scheduling rental pickups and drop-offs and issues while on rent
• Prepare documents for customer arrival and conduct hand-off
• Conduct insurance company or customer invoice generation and payment receipt

• Detail and/or light service advisory experience is preferred
• Proven track record of a great work ethic
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player
• Ability to lift 50 - 60 pounds
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to follow instructions
• Microsoft Office suite experience preferred
