- Provide strategic leadership and foster excellence in Safety, Quality, Productivity across the organization
- Execute proper staffing levels, demand forecasting, continuous improvement modeling, KPI’s, and P&L management
- Build plans for sustainability and long-term success of the Distribution region
- Builds relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners.
- Effectively manages and executes changes needed to drive business process improvements and standardization
- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations or Manufacturing or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of direct management experience, including salaried workforce, in a distribution and production environment
- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and lean techniques
- Change Management: Drives, manages, influences, and inspires change through communication at all impacted levels
- Process Improvement: Uses Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodology to develop and execute efficient and cost-effective solutions to align with business objectives
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including but not limited to peers, business units, and customers
- Proficient using Microsoft Office, Google Earth, WMS, ERP, and TMS. Open availability to work all shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

What to Expect What You’ll Bring
The Warehouse Associate will maintain inventory at a regional Tesla warehouse. This will include receiving, issuing, and organizing materials for maximum efficiency; and preparing material daily to support Tesla installation crews. Warehouse Associates who excel in the role maintain a clean and orderly warehouse with accurate inventory and prepare all installation kits on time.
What You’ll Do - Properly organize warehouse to ensure all material is accessible, countable, and identifiable
- Maintain inventory levels to ensure crews have material to meet their installation needs
- Pull material, restock installation crew vans, and return excess materials
- Review and document inventory counts to ensure accuracy within the warehouse
- Complete auditable records: packing slips, pick lists, job close out paperwork
- Deliver materials to job sites when needed
- Use computer software system to issue and receive material and perform additional duties as needed
- Mechanical aptitude to pre-assemble parts
- Ability to perform repetitious duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Excellent customer service skills required and Computer skills are preferred
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success
- Valid driver's license required
