• Day to day coverage of production equipment: respond to equipment issues, unplanned downtime and production requests quickly and efficiently to maximize equipment availability
• Diagnose equipment failures, perform 1st line troubleshooting and escalate equipment failures to Maintenance/Equipment Engineers timeously
• Plan, prioritize and perform preventative maintenance tasks and schedules utilizing the Maintenance Management System(FLUX) and Maintain spare parts inventory
• Work closely with the Equipment Engineers to build new equipment as well as perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds
• Work with Engineering and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures and minimize equipment downtime
• Drive continuous improvement and develop countermeasures to prevent (repetitive) breakdowns
• Follow all aspects of Maintenance Safety protocol (LOTO, 5S, ESD protection, etc.), to ensure that the maintenance team operates safely and always leads by example

• High School diploma in technical direction or a comparable qualification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an equipment maintenance technician/ service technician/ diagnostics technician/ technician in a comparable field
• Must have expertise in one trade, proficiency in others, and the willingness to learn additional, Relevant practical experience and knowledge of Mechanical Systems, Electronics, interpreting mechanical and electrical schematic diagrams, Troubleshooting, Pneumatics, hydraulics, Panel building and wiring
• Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good overall computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays when required and must be willing to work in a shift pattern

The Manufacturing Supervisor oversees the analysis, repair, remanufacture, validation, and documentation of complex electromechanical assemblies. The Supervisor is responsible for establishing and meeting the department output targets, and driving continuous improvement throughout the remanufacturing process. A core task will be to provide daily support, training, and direction to our Technicians. The Supervisor also works closely with our Engineers to identify new failure modes, implement corrective/preventive actions, and develop repair instructions. The Manufacturing Supervisor develops and implements procedures, documentation, tracking tools, etc., to ensure work is performed quickly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

• Builds a strong, motivated production team capable of consistently delivering high quality products against production targets.
• Hires, trains, leads, and develops Technicians. Training includes appropriate use of hand tools, test equipment, and computer-based tools for the analysis and remanufacture of products and subassemblies.
• Interacts with Engineering, Production, PC, QA, Logistics and other departments as necessary to resolve issues and concerns, and track/expedite product through the remanufacturing process.
• Monitors metrics and Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's) to assess safety, efficiency, and cost management, and develops and follows through on plans for continual improvement in all areas.
• Resolves issues to ensure the successful and timely remanufacture of fields returns, and ensures remanufactured products to meet or exceed requirements and customer expectations.
• As needed, supports teams & groups outside of primary job while still achieving performance targets.
• Implements and enforces proper material management and 5S practices.
• Manages employees’ schedules, time cards, training and other tasks related to absenteeism.

• Solid experience in assembly and repair of electro-mechanical components or electric motors.
• Working knowledge of high voltage DC battery systems, or basic electronics and DC electrical systems.
• Proficient with hand tools and computer-based tools, including precision measuring equipment, electrical test equipment, and computer databases.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Proficient with computer tools, including network solutions, Word, Excel, QuickBase, Outlook, MRP, MES, and PLM. (WarpDrive, FlexNet, and Enovia a plus.)
• Ability to foster a close working relationship with team members and management.

• Leadership: You will manage a team, consisting of a several country/region specific advisors. You have a high sense of ambition and drive when it comes to improvements. You will align with your Tesla Support Regional Associate Manager to support with the direction of the team and advice on requirements that drive continuous improvements. • Represent: You will be part of a customer facing team and represent the (technical) information of many teams directly to the customer. You are Tesla’s voice for escalations and complex issues – in this way you are the representative of our brand, mission and products.

• Coordinate & Stakeholder Management: You excel in cross-functional and stakeholder relationship management by acting as point of contact for your country/region's advisors, metrics and escalations. As a Supervisor you would mostly focus on managing our newest Tesla Support advisors, and coach them on the basics of the role.

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience is required, with the ability to illustrate you have led teams in the past. A technical background in IT, automotive or engineering is preferred, however not a necessity.
• Bachelor's or university degree in relevant subject, project management qualification or equivalent in experience in managing and implementing initiatives, business processes and projects with multiple and competing priorities.

• Support vibration tests on electrodynamic shaker tables for various sub-systems used in Tesla vehicles
• Support sub-system strength and durability tests at 3rd party test labs for structural components such as castings, body in white, sub-frames and suspension etc.
• Conduct detailed inspections of the sub-systems as per Tesla standards and procedures & document and report issues identified during test or inspections
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve issues discovered
• Provide detailed written and verbal test status updates to key stake holders during weekly meetings
• Support engineering teams in instrumentation and data acquisition setup and logging for these tests
• Needs to be hands on with test setup, execution and performing general test equipment maintenance
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Previous experience as an Engineering technician
• Experience in vibration lab or structural lab is a plus but not required
• Experience with fabrication equipment (e.g. Band Saw, Drill Press)
• Analytical problem solving & root cause analysis skills
• Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience with MS office tools (Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Project)

• Guide production teams to properly define final disposition of parts and components
• Document & communicate any identified defects. Escalate concerns that are not being properly resolved in your immediate work area
• Educate the stakeholders on a Quality culture by sharing best practices, providing on the job training, and communicating updates and changes related to quality
• Perform Fault injections on the line to determine effectiveness of inspections
• Provide daily production support on quality concerns and develop and implement short/long-term countermeasures to quality problems while maintaining operation efficiency
• Adhere and promote strict 5S standards and maintain cleanliness in the work area
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, defined plans, and written/verbal instructions & maintain quality performance metrics and drive issues to root cause solutions
• Perform Incoming quality control on received goods and escalate in case of supplier non-compliance

• Minimum of two years experience in an automotive production or manufacturing quality assurance environment
  
• Understanding of electro-mechanical products and assembly processes is a strong plus
  
• Ability to visually detect defects in a fast-paced environment & identify and differentiate between several defect types
  
• Ability to determine severity of a defect and the required response as well Ability to determine potential countermeasure solutions against failed inspections
  
• Ability to perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting of quality issues that will be referenced by technicians, engineers, and management
  
• Experience with basic measurement and inspection tools is a strong plus (DMM, Calipers, Torque Wrenches, Gauges etc.)
