  • Develop a geographic and vertical market account management plan that focuses on strategic growth. Identify new business opportunities to grow in new markets or adjacent segments and develop “go to market” strategies to drive business to the standard construction channel and the end user customer.
  • Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities. Achieve new order/booking and profit goals. Deliver on forecasted results consistently.
  • Estimate and propose mechanical service agreements and HVAC retrofit projects.
  • Maintain customer relationships and grow existing service agreements by proposing additional customer-valued services from the comprehensive Siemens portfolio.
  • Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
  • Partner with other sales division teams to plan, target, and acquire new projects and accounts.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Over 5 years of handson experience with the latest Mechanical/ HVAC Systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology Diplomas or relevant trade certifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales covering Mechanical/ HVAC products and solutions
  • Knowledge of and strong networking relationships within the local building market such as building owners, maintenance contractors, and mechanical industry subcontractors is strongly desired and essential to the role.
  • Experience in the life sciences, healthcare, education, data center, commercial office, and government facility vertical markets preferred.
  • Financial expertise to estimate and sell technical service agreements and retrofit projects effectively and independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Removes and replaces track and track components.
  • Inspect and repair rail lubricators.
  • Clean Flangeways.
  • Remove graffiti and garbage from alignment.

The S&C Maintainer reports to the S&C Supervisor and has good interpersonal skills, substantial experience in most S&C systems from a variety of different suppliers, an excellent safety record, and a very safety-conscious mindset.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of railway signals maintenance experience in a high-density CTC environment
  • Substantial knowledge of S&C Standard Code of Practice and General Instructions

  • Demonstrated knowledge of CTC Signal Systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of different road crossing warning system technologies
