What you`ll do:

With the integration of container technology into our delivery and automation tools we also need to adapt our existing monitoring.

You work on the validation part with different tools like Prometheus, Icinga and FRUN as well as on the automated integration for new services into our monitoring.

The role includes:

• Establish Monitoring for Container based applications.
• Adapt and develop script-based application checks.
• Continuous improvements of ECS Monitoring & Alerting.
• Ensuring high quality/reliability of the active monitoring checks.

Your responsibilities will include designing and developing enterprise-grade products and services that leverage various tools and technologies. You will work together with your development leads, product owners, product managers, and development operations colleagues in your team and other teams to create value for our customers, delivering top quality engineering outputs.

What you'll do

Software Delivery: Write Code, build Services and deliver Product; by executing against a committed delivery timeline; You will be required to participate in DevOps activities including on duty 24/7 support shifts when it is your shift.

What you bring

• University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of experience in software product development with a focus on developing cloud services and solutions.
• Strong advocate for Agile development processes with experience implementing well-run, agile processes in multiple functions including Development, QA, Release & Deployment.
• Proven experience in AI use case development.
• Previous experience with business applications like S/4HANA Cloud, public & private edition and SAP’s Digital Supply Chain solutions is highly desirable.
• Participate in customer incidents promptly and ensure concerns are addressed within the SLA period.
• Beneficial: Experience will all phases of software development, delivery and Cloud SaaS service ownership.
  

Required technology exposure & experience:

• SaaS delivery based on microservice architecture.
• Container technologies like docker, Kubernetes etc.
• Cloud integration and deployment on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Proficiency in programming language Java is a must.
• Demonstrate understanding and expertise in DevOps methodologies and principles.
• Fluent English language skills, spoken and written.
