Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with your mentor to design, develop, and maintain code in Python, Golang or similar programming language
Add new features, debug, identify, and track issues in Red Hat products (RHEL, OpenShift or other)
Collaborate with the wider team members and other departments such as Quality Engineering, Designers, Product Management or Documentation team throughout the product cycle

Work with the Northeast Enterprise Sales team to plan the emerging technology strategy within a set of defined accounts
Consult with customers to understand their core business drivers and technical requirements
Present Red Hat’s technical solutions and manage emerging technology opportunity cycles with customers from qualification through to decision and procurement
Guide customers from their initial interest in agile transformation through to the adoption of Red Hat’s cloud platform technologies, which will provide the technology foundation for improvement

What you’ll bring:
8+ years of experience working in a solutions sales, solutions architecture, or agile transformation consulting role
5+ years of experience focused on modern application delivery frameworks and platforms like Kubernetes and Docker, Red Hat OpenShift, Apache Kafka, MuleSoft, Jenkins, Apache Spark, MongoDB, etc.
Background in consultative customer engagement with a consulting or technology company or organization
Technical experience with enterprise middleware and container technologies
Understanding of and experience with agile methodologies and organizational and IT transformation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to executives at large companies
Ability to sell solutions in a multi-product environment
Proven ability to work with global cross-functional teams and achieve success for customers

The OpenShift engineering team is looking for a Software Quality Engineer. In this role, you will work on Red Hat’s OpenShift Container Platform, built on container technology and the Kubernetes cluster management system. You'll be responsible for all aspects of quality for Red Hat OpenShift, including designing test plans, extending automation frameworks, and developing new automated tests for both back and front ends. You will make sure our solutions fulfill the highest possible enterprise quality, performance, usability, and supportability. What you will do

Work with the product release related teams to be responsible for the product delivery related testing;

What you will bring:
An engineering degree or higher, or equivalent in computer science or a related field

Programming skills in Golang, Python or another programming language

About the role:
