  • Analyzes risk in assigned credit portfolios by reviewing relevant reporting and assessing trends. Provides expert analytical insight and identifies risk concentrations, systemic trends, or issues. Participates in continuous monitoring for assigned portfolios.
  • Oversees file review activities of reviewers as Reviewer in Charge for assigned business segment(s). Perform assessment of file review results and findings to determine final ratings and drafting of review reports. Serves as an expert resource to the team.

Job Description
  • Provides financial and regulatory reporting and analyses to maintain adequate controls over the financial and regulatory reporting processes. Responsible for running complex business performance, risk and operational analytics.   • Leverages business / product expertise to rigorously analyze large datasets, improve risk adjusted returns, deliver profitable growth, and communicate conclusions. Synthesizes analytical results and develops, recommends, and implements business strategies that improve lending decisions, assist in managing risk, increase revenues, reduce exposure to losses, meet business goals, and improve performance. Establishes baselines for strategies and tracks actual performance to expectations.
  • Applies predictive models, third party data, and other tools to develop and execute appropriate segmentation and targeting for acquisition and portfolio strategies to provide insight into portfolio risk. Manages engagements with internal and external information suppliers ensuring solution is fit for purpose while maintaining appropriate governance and oversight.
  • Works with business, credit, data, and model development partners to design, develop, and monitor test designs and analytical reporting to track and enhance strategies. Designs / enhances standard reporting suites for regular product / portfolio reviews.

If you currently do not hold one of these credentials, you would need to successfully obtain one of these credentials within one year of your start date.As a Senior Tax Liaison, you will work within the Fiduciary liaison team (trust tax) and the Estate Liaison team (estate settlement). You will work and communicate with an assigned group of tax preparers from an outside accounting firm and PNC Fiduciary Advisors who manage those accounts, serving as the Liaison between the two. Your responsibilities will include managing email flow, as well as handling new account openings as well as account closings.   • Assists outside vendor with tax notices and taxing authority audits and inquiries related to client accounts and works with vendor and in-house and external counsel in resolving issues.
  • Reviews client account activity, receipts, disbursements, death notices, corporate reorganizations and exchanges, and other corporate actions in client accounts to ensure correct tax reporting by outside vendor. Participates in in-house and external training to enhance technical knowledge and to maintain professional credentials and certifications.
  • Serves as a resource to less experienced tax accountants on matters of routine and non-routine nature, including but not limited to account set up, generation-skipping transfer tax reviews, and account closings. As requested, may perform secondary review of outside prepared returns of moderate to high complexity level.

Preferred Qualifications:
• The position requires robust credit knowledge and strong experience related to Commercial credit extension and management.
• 10+ years of Credit Risk/Credit Underwriting preferred, specifically dealing with larger, more complex transactions in Commercial, CRE, Corporate Banking, Leverage Lending, Middle Market, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication, in addition to ability to handle difficult conversations, are critical to effectively communicate with stakeholders.Job Description
  • Executes file review assessment on complex credit and credit related transactions, including credit facility structures and underwriting processes, with an expert knowledge of credit policies and procedures. Understands inherent risk and the materiality of risk for credit transactions. Validates scorecard risk ratings, and borrower credit administration. Ensures understanding of portfolio issues, trends, and root causes in order to manage credit portfolios effectively.
  • Independently completes work papers, issue tracking, supporting documentation, follows up on exam findings with business leaders, and acts as a Second Level Reviewer. Effectively communicates credit risk reviews objectives, outcomes and recommendations for issue remediation as needed.
  • Analyzes risk in assigned credit portfolios by reviewing relevant reporting and assessing trends. Provides expert analytical insight and identifies risk concentrations, systemic trends, or issues. Participates in continuous monitoring for assigned portfolios.
  • Oversees file review activities of reviewers as Reviewer in Charge for assigned business segment(s). Perform assessment of file review results and findings to determine final ratings and drafting of review reports. Serves as an expert resource to the team.
  • Expert understanding of the credit cycle and economic indicators' impact on key driving metrics. Demonstrates expert knowledge of where and how to leverage industry/economic research tools into the review.
