

Biomedical Equipment Technician
This position supports the Multi-Vendor Biomedical business with our clients. This position will be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, and service Biomedical Equipment at customer sites.

Support the Multi-Vendor Services (MVS) business as a Biomedical Equipment Site Lead for Philips customers in the Greenville, MS area. You will assume a leadership role for an empowered area of responsibility to manage and foster strong customer relationships through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, andequipment at customer sites; generate service revenue; adhere to state and federal regulatory requirements.

May berequiredto manage multiple issues simultaneously.
Establishes credibility and trust while focusing on fixing the customer as well as the medical products. Sets realistic customer expectations. Interfaces with end-users, department managers and supervisors on routine issues.
May be requested to serve upon or provide consultation to various hospital committees or teams as requested by the customer with prior approval of site management
be requiredto be available 24 x 7 via phone or pager, work alternate shifts, rotate in an on-call status.

Associate’s degree or equivalent training/experience in electronics or Biomedical Engineering and/or CBET certification.
7+ years servicing medical equipment isstronglypreferred.
1+ years ofpreviouslead/supervisory experience in the medical industry preferred.
PC competency, to include basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases.

Biomedical Equipment Technician 1

Your role:

The identification and resolution of customer issues, providing the customer with the appropriate communication and involving appropriate site service personnel.
Maintaining customer satisfaction is the primary goal. Therefore, the BMET must demonstrate ownership in difficult circumstances and show a sense of urgency about delivering results, ability to establish the priorities of the moment by assessing the priorities communicated by the Site Manager, the Site Team or the customer.
Independently complete PMs, FCOs, installations, and all related tasks and independently diagnose, resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems, and resolve customer issues.

You have acquired 1or more years of experience servicing medical equipment; general biomedical, patient monitoring, blood pressure monitors, defibrillators, or infusion pump experience highly preferred.
Associates degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience;BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMETpreferred.
