Job Title:Head of Social Commerce & Content, Personal Health JAPAC

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Head of Social Commerce and Content to lead our efforts in driving consumer engagement, brand loyalty, and revenue growth through social media platforms and content strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of the intersection between social commerce, content creation, and the personal care market. You will be responsible for crafting and executing strategies that leverage social media, influencer partnerships, and compelling content to convert followers into consumers while strengthening the brand’s social commerce presence.

Your Role:

Social Commerce Strategy:

  • Working with local district and country teams develop and execute a comprehensive social commerce strategy to drive direct sales through social media platforms.
  • Identify and leverage new tools, platforms, and trends in social shopping (e.g. Instagram Shopping, TikTok Shop, live shopping).
  • Collaborate with e-commerce and marketing teams to create seamless shopping experiences from social media to checkout.
  • Identifying new opportunities to drive commerce and brand engagement, based on evolving customer and cultural trends, including a focus on reaching younger and more diverse audiences.
  • Partnering across functional teams (including Media, Insights, Content, Finance) to drive process improvement and efficiency.

Content Strategy and Creation:

  • Lead the development of engaging, high-quality content tailored for diverse social media platforms.
  • Oversee the production of videos, graphics, live streams, and written content to showcase products and brand identity.
  • Create a cohesive content calendar aligned with product launches, campaigns, and key marketing moments.

Influencer and Community Engagement:

  • Build and manage relationships with influencers, creators, and brand ambassadors to amplify social commerce efforts in the strategic countries of JAPAC zone.
  • Oversee user-generated content (UGC) initiatives and foster an engaged online community.
  • Track and analyze the impact of influencer campaigns on brand visibility and sales.

Revenue and Performance Management:

  • Drive measurable revenue growth through social commerce initiatives.
  • Set, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, conversion rates, and sales.
  • Use data analytics to optimize campaigns and content strategies for maximum ROI.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with regional commercial, product, marketing, and e-commerce teams to align social commerce efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Collaborate with customer service to ensure prompt responses to inquiries and a seamless shopping experience.
  • Work with IT and platform teams to integrate social commerce tools and features.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/ Communications/ Business or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in consumer electronics or a similar fast-paced, innovation-driven industry is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, YouTube, META, etc.) and their commerce capabilities.
  • Expertise in content creation and storytelling, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using tools like Google Analytics, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for personal care and healthcare and staying ahead of digital marketing trends.

  • Develop and implement a 3-year Joint Business Plan with top E-Commerce retailers focused on collaborative growth and strategic partnerships.
  • Define and manage the annual financial plan to achieve revenue targets and optimize investment on E-Commerce platforms.
  • Establish and refine the go-to-market strategy for marketplaces including third-party selling, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Lead a cross-functional team to drive project execution, ensuring integration and synergy between sales, marketing, IT, and operational functions.
  • Manage direct reports and business partners in executing E-Commerce strategies that align with the company’s vision and market needs.
  • Coordinate with international teams to leverage global insights and best practices, adapting them for local implementation.

Marketplace Management:

  • Oversee the operational and strategic aspects of marketplace (third-party) selling, including seller relationship management, product listings, customer service, and logistics.
  • Enhance platform visibility and seller ratings through optimized listings, improved marketing techniques, and superior product offerings.

Data and Analytics:

  • Utilize data analytics to monitor performance metrics across E-Commerce platforms and marketplaces, using insights to drive business decisions and strategic adjustments.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of tech and tool requirements necessary for effective marketplace management and analytics capabilities.

Innovation and Growth:

  • Identify and capitalize on new opportunities for expansion and improvement across E-Commerce platforms.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to continually enhance the E-Commerce and marketplace strategies.

You're likely the right fit if you possess

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce and marketplace management, preferably within the JAPAC region. Experience in China is a plus
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing GTM strategies for online retail and third-party selling platforms.
  • Experience in building and managing Joint Business Plans with major e-commerce retailers.
  • Familiarity with the e-commerce landscape, consumer behaviour, and digital marketing trends in JAPAC.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, marketplace dynamics, and digital sales channels.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, financial modelling, and budget management1.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce enabling technologies, including CRM, CMS, ERP, and analytics tools.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and techniques, SEO/SEM, and social media marketing.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Job Description

As the Category Lead, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the Zone’s Go-To-Market approach of the Oral Healthcare (OHC) portfolio, solutions and services, in alignment with the Districts/Country and the overall JAPAC strategy. Working closely with the Regional Business Unit Leader OHC to ensure that deep consumer and category insights of the Zone are reflected in the strategy, a winning portfolio is created, and flawless new product introductions are enabled.

Your Role

  • Own and deliver portfolio (phase in / out), pruning, perfect NPI execution, recommended pricing & STTI levels, orchestrating the opportunities and contributing to the built of the Growth Region strategic portfolio and the handshake of PDLM & MLDs
  • Deliver the business plan for the respective business in the Zone and act as key interface to the regional team and BU where needed, determining key enablers to win in the market.
  • Work closely together with the community of local CMMs (District level) so to act as the voice of the consumer and customer for the Zone (focus on “how to win” for prioritized SOBs) based on deep audience-specific insights (consumer shopper, professional), incorporating key insights on Region and BU strategy
  • Live and breathe the consumer journey and the category specific shopper insights, making sure the Execution of the Region and Zone strategy are well orchestrated.
