About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist with 10+ years of hands on experience in predictive modelling to join our team. As a Machine Learning Expert, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge models and algorithms to solve complex problems and generate high-quality outputs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of product owners, planners, engineers, and data scientists to explore innovative applications of generative AI across various domains.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyzes multifaceted and high-dimensional data problems, developing innovative solutions, formulating sophisticated hypotheses, creating advanced proof of concepts to validate & refine analytical models and implement solutions to business problems.

• Participates in end-to-end data mining projects, utilizing advanced algorithms, machine learning models, and AI techniques to extract deep and actionable insights from complex, large-scale data sources.

• Executes the deployment and rigorous testing of data science solutions and insights, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and seamless integration with existing enterprise systems and workflows.

• Presents complex data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders, effectively translating intricate analytical results into clear, actionable business strategies and influencing key decision-making processes.

• Monitors, maintains, and continuously improves the performance of deployed models, conducting regular reviews, updates, and optimizations to ensure sustained accuracy, relevance, and business impact.

• Interacts and collaborates with cross-functional teams, including IT, data engineering, and various business units, to ensure the successful operationalization, integration, and scaling of data science solutions across the finance function.

• Build data-science and technology based algorithmic solutions to address business needs

• Design large scale models using Regression, Linear Models Family, Time-series models.

• Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources

• Analyze and interpret the results of analytics experiments

• Applies a global approach to analytical solutions-both within a business area and across the enterprise

• Ability to use data for Exploratory, descriptive, Inferential, Prescriptive, and Advanced Analytics

• Ability to share dashboards, reports, and Analytical insights from data

• Experience of having done visualization on large datasets – Preferred – added advantage Technical Knowledge and Skills required

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Econometrics, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.

Your role:

Data & Transformation Analyst — Cloudification & Software Hub

• Turn cross-BU data into decisions that improve cost, compliance, and speed for 3rd-party BOM Software and Cloud Products - standardizing components, preventing license/entitlement risk, and unlocking savings.
• Work daily with Product Owner(s), ServiceNow/Cloud engineers, Integration & Data Architects, Procurement (S2P/Category), R&D/PLM (Windchill), Finance, and Quality/Regulatory.
• Build depth in cloud data tooling and product analytics, sharpen program leadership (Agile/SAFe, PMP), and grow into a strategic PM/PO or Architecture-adjacent role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply data science/analytics to monitor and report KPIs specific to 3rd-party BOM software (usage by product/BOM, license & entitlement status, renewal risk, vendor spend, savings pipeline, standardization/adoption).

• Implement robust monitoring and controls in SHUB (ServiceNow) for catalog completeness, AVL checks (Windchill↔SAP), data quality rules, and compliance signals tied to BOM lineage.

• Partner with PM, Architects, and system owners to define data and mappings across Windchill, SAP, Azure Data Lake, and ServiceNow—ensuring lineage/traceability for BOM-scoped third-party software.

• Assists with medium-complexity projects related to digital transformation (features, integrations, dashboards), adhering to Agile and Project Management Professional (PMP) methodologies, ensuring successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Identifies opportunities for process improvement using analytical insights, collaborating with Business Process Experts (BPEs) and senior management to drive efficiency, innovation, and strategic alignment.

• Enable adoption and change—prepare materials, run demos/UAT, coach engineers and buyers on how programs support software discovery, requests, and compliance.
