Lead the largest team of consultants within Palo Alto Networks that are globally dispersed.
Be responsible for the largest contribution margins per project delivered by your team.

Shape the delivery methodology for well defined services to drive maximum value for Palo Alto Networks’ customers.
Be part of the Technical services leadership team to collaboratively define and execute delivery strategy and then execute tactically to deliver upon these the associated strategic objectives
Partner with stakeholders such as in-region teams, PMO, RMO, Services sales etc to drive organisational goals for Revenue, Margin, Efficiency and Automation
Your Experience
Have a deep understanding of leading large (100+) , outsourced, teams of Professional Services consultants, on a global basis, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a global setting.
Demonstrable experience in building high performing teams where team members feel appreciated and have their talents fully utilised and explored
Be highly data driven to allow new initiatives and changes to be underpinned on facts and enable a very high degree of staff commitment and support from staff to execute these successfully.
Must be comfortable to challenge the status quo in a respectful manner to drive to positive disruption.
Bring a high level of energy and enthusiasm in leading the team and be willing to get with the team to build a deep level of “grass roots” understanding of the consultants tasks and challenges
8+ years of experience in leading teams of technical consultants in either a delivery or pre-sales setting where experience with both is preferable.
Excellent stakeholder management skills where staying true to the mission of PAN is paramount to the objectives of you and your team.
Experience in leading culturally diverse teams and in particular have experience with leading teams in India on a remote basis.
Excellent vendor management and relationship building skills
Solid financial acumen and experience in running a 10M+ P&L

Your Impact
Design, develop and implement highly scalable software features on our next-generation security platform as part of our Prisma Access
Work with different development and quality assurances groups to achieve the best quality
Suggest and implement improvements to the development process
Work with DevOps and the Technical Support teams to troubleshoot customer issues
Your Experience
At least 6+ years of development experience
Experience in developing services in the cloud/Kubernetes
Experience with building data pipelines and analytics pipelines using like dataflow, pubsub, GKE
Strong understanding of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable ‘big data’ data stores
Experience with RESTful interfaces and Build Management tools (Gradle, maven)
Experience in continuous integration and design
Experience with Test-Driven Development
Experience with distributed computing and object-oriented design and analysis
Strong understanding of microservices-based deployments with the ability to design services
Showcase your ability of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, peer review, and operations
Familiarity with Agile (e.g., Scrum Process)
Familiarity in Big Data technologies like Hive, Kafka, Hadoop, SQL, developing APIs
Familiarity working with GCP or other Cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure

Technical Leadership & Hands-On Contribution:
Serve as the top technical expert for the IT licensing platform, capable of diving into code (Java, C#) to troubleshoot complex issues, review architecture, and provide technical guidance to the teams.
Drive the technical roadmap, architectural decisions, and the adoption of modern development practices (e.g., microservices, cloud-native architecture).
Champion the use of AI technologies to enhance the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and improve platform capabilities.
AI Development and Integration:
Directly contribute to and oversee the development of applications and systems using AI technologies to automate and optimize IT licensing processes, such as predictive analytics for license usage and anomaly detection for compliance risks.
Champion efficiency gains in the SDLC by leveraging AI tools, including AI-assisted code generation, automated testing, and intelligent monitoring systems.
Team & People Management:
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineering managers and engineers.
Foster a high-performance culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Oversee talent acquisition and development, including hiring, training, and performance management for a globally distributed team.
Operational Excellence:

Collaborate with finance, legal, procurement, and vendor management teams to optimize software spend, manage vendor relationships, and ensure license compliance.
Provide strategic guidance on licensing strategies and tools, presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
Cross-Geographic Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering and business teams in different time zones (e.g., U.S., Europe) to align on priorities and deliver cohesive solutions.
Be a cultural ambassador, promoting effective communication and seamless collaboration between the Bangalore team and other global offices.
Your Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing multiple teams.
Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams in a geographically distributed model, specifically with offshore or global delivery centers.
MUST HAVE: Hands-on experience managing systems with complex integration and leading complex data migration and integration projects.
Hands-on, practical experience with AI development, including building applications and systems that leverage AI technologies.
A demonstrated track record of championing and implementing AI tools to improve the efficiency and quality of the software development lifecycle.
Deep hands-on technical expertise in Java and C#, including a strong understanding of modern frameworks, design patterns, and distributed systems.
Demonstrable experience with software asset management (SAM), IT licensing, and vendor management.
Strong knowledge of operational excellence, including DevOps, CI/CD, cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS), and observability tools.
