Lead the global Color & Material Manufacturing Quality team to deliver on Nikeโs product integrity goals.
Develop and implement a comprehensive color & material manufacturing quality strategy and operating model that spans the end-to-end product lifecycleโfrom design through manufacturing.
Establish and maintain robust quality standards, metrics, and tools to assess supplier capabilities, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
Partner with category teams, product creation, material vendors, and manufacturing partners to proactively identify and mitigate quality risks.

This role reports to the Sr. Director of Product Integrity who is based at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, and will collaborate closely with:

WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelorโs degree or higher in Material or Textile Science, Materials Engineering, or a related fieldโor equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years of experience in materials and color manufacturing quality, preferably in the Footwear or Apparel industry.
Deep technical knowledge of fibers, yarns, knits, wovens, dyeing, finishing, printing, and testing.
Experience with digital color tools and data-driven quality management systems.
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Proven ability to lead and develop global teams, manage performance, and foster career growth.
Ability to travel up to 10%.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As the Manager, Materials Operations Excellence, you will:
Lead the development and execution of reporting strategies that support key initiatives within Material Manufacturing in collaboration with functions across Materials Supply Chain.
Oversee the modernization, governance, and continuous enhancement of operational reporting tools and dashboards.
Drive improvement in data quality, reporting automation, process optimization and advanced analytics capabilities.
Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and strategic insights.

The Manager, Materials Operations Excellence will report to a Senior Manager of Materials Manufacturing. This role will be based in Taipei. You will collaborate with leaders across product engines within Materials Manufacturing and also work closely with Materials Sourcing, Materials Planning, Materials Costing, Vendor Operations, Tech and Commercial Data & Analytics.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelorโs degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Operations Research, or related field; Masterโs degree preferred.
6+ years of experience in manufacturing, analytics, operations, or technology; experience in a leadership or managerial role will be a plus.
Proven experience in leading data quality initiatives, reporting automation, and analytics transformation.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, Smartsheet, SQL)
Strong leadership, communication, presentation techniques and stakeholder management skills.

Role Overview:The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and data infrastructure. This role requires a blend of software engineering and data engineering skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet or solve business needs or problems in partnership with business stakeholders.
The candidate needs to have strong technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of business needs, and a focus on quality standards, all while being able to effectively navigate complex technical challenges and guide their team towards successful project delivery. He/she must be able to handle multiple projects, and various competing priorities. Ideally, the candidate has worked in a scaled agile environment for planning and managing work in bi-weekly sprints and quarterly PI planning. He/She will work with our business partners and product managers to understand the business requirements. He/She will design, code/ configure, test, debug, and implement the solutions ensuring they meet the requirements and specifications, as well as comply with Nike architectural & application security standards. The person in this role has had experience in guiding others on a highly proficient team in ensuring others understand the business requirements and design and provides leadership to deliver the work. He/She enjoys learning new skills and technologies. Key technical skills for this role are extensive experience in the Software Development Life Cycle, including system cloud architectural design. Proficient in front-end development using Angular/React with TypeScript/JavaScript, as well as backend development with .NET Core (EF Core). Skilled in database design and management with SQL/NoSQL databases such as SQL Server and Cosmos DB. Adept at developing REST APIs and Serverless Functions using Azure Functions or AWS Lambda. Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and data engineering using Databricks.
