Role Overview

As a Laboratory Operations Technical Specialist, you will setup, configure, and maintain computerized laboratory systems. This role involves both creative and analytical skills to solve complex problems as well as good communication skills to work with a global (remote) customer base and team. You will use your expertise in requirements analysis, OS and software installation and configuration so that the computerized lab systems meet the needs of business while working within the framework of company policies and local laws. You will work with other technical specialists as well as scientists in the laboratories.. You should be ready to work independently as well as in a team.

What will you do in this role

  • Configure systems for operational use in the laboratories
  • Support validation activities
  • Provide global technical support using your extensive knowledge on windows, configuration, networking and general computer setup.

What should you have

  • Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience working with technologies – Windows OS, Share Drives, windows registry, windows group policies, LDAP (networking)
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Familiarity with modern tools – e.g. Tanium, Acronis, ServiceNow
  • Experience in the pharma industry, GxP are beneficial
  • Possesses both theoretical and practical knowledge, with the ability to autonomously implement given tasks

Required Experience and Skills**:

  • 5+ years delivery of information technology (IT) services and solutions, with an emphasis on innovation
  • Experienced in using agile methods to bring new solutions though experimental/Proof of Concept (POC) stages and subsequent Minimum Viable Product (MVP), scale up and industrialization.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate, supervise and coach across cultures, organizational levels and disciplines.
  • Demonstrated success in building strong relationships across siloes with client organizations and with technology centers

Reporting to Associate Director, Oncology Global Commercial Pipeline Analytics, within HHDDA, this role will lead the development of analytics capabilities for the innovative oncology new products and pipeline priorities, spanning all tumor areas across oncology and hematology.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Analytics & Insights: Conduct analytics and synthesize insights enable launch excellence for multiple new assets. Conceptualize and build set of analytics capabilities and tools anchored to our marketing and launch frameworks to support strategic decision- making for Global Oncology portfolio (e.g. market and competitor landscape assessment tools, commercial opportunity assessments, market maps, analytical patient and HCP journeys, benchmark libraries).

  • Analytics Delivery: Hands-on analytics project delivery with advanced expertise in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using tools such as Excel-VBA, SQL, R, Python, PowerBI, ThoughtSpot or similar technologies and capabilities. Leverage a variety of patient modeling techniques including statistical, patient-flow, and simulations-based techniques for insight generation.

  • Benchmarking Analytics: Lead benchmarking analytics to collect, analyze, and translate insights into recommended business actions to inform strategic business choices.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner effectively with global marketing teams, HHDDA teams, and other cross-functional teams to inform strategic decisions and increase commercial rigor through all phases of pipeline asset development.

Required Experience and Skills:

Role Overview:

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible driving solution design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the different QMS tools with specific alignment to the Quality business processes. Essential skills include a strong technical as well as business background, proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum), and excellent organizational abilities.

What will you do in this role:

  • Applies a structured approach to discover, document, and manage business process, user and stakeholder needs, including opportunity statements, use cases, insights, and requirements.

  • Documents business process, business, and user needs in the form of problem statements to make up the backlog. Facilitates the “how” with the Development team.

  • Manage business analysis per agreed priority backlog items in JIRA.
  • Participate in impact assessment activities, reviewing proposed changes and ensuring impact understood.
  • Deliver product enhancements through agreed backlog process to ensure Quality solutions evolves to meet business needs
  • Ensure Quality solutions remain compliant as a Validated Solution through verification testing, documentation, and validation efforts
  • Provide overall leadership, guidance, and management of all aspects of a given solution, including requirements gathering, enhancements delivery plan and implementation.
  • Initiate projects including defining a scope/charter, identify stakeholders, and establish governance.
  • Act as a bridge between Business SMEs, technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. Communicate delivery status, solution health, risks, and issues to all parties involved and ensure that everyone is aligned and informed.
  • Conduct product status meetings and present updates to stakeholders and senior management. Evaluate delivery performance and implement continuous improvement practices.
  • Understand the technical aspects as well as business process impacts to make informed decisions, provide guidance, and communicate effectively with the development team. This includes having a deep understanding of the QMS business processes, technology stack, architecture, and potential technical challenges.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring that the team focuses on delivering the most valuable features.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that could impact project success.

What Should you have:

  • Minimum Level of Education Required -Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, and Science OR in a related field. The job requires a solid academic background on how Information Technology supports the delivery of business objectives
  • Preferred Level of Education - Veeva Certifications (Veeva Vault/Vault Quality Suite/ QMS). The role holder has completed the Certified Vault Training and is up to date.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical project management, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Understanding of Quality Management System Capabilities (Audit/Inspection management, CAPA management, Deviations management, Complaint management)
  • Experience in solution delivery with GMP systems
  • Experience with architecture, integration, interfaces, portals, and/or analytics
  • Understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) processes
  • Knowledge and experience with QMS relevant tools like Veeva Vault Quality, Track wise
  • Proven experience in leading complex technical projects in a fast-paced environment.

RoleOverview

As a Software Engineer focusing on Java/Angular JS you will design, develop, and maintain software systems. This role involves both creative and analytical skills to solve complex problems and create efficient, reliable software. You will use your expertise in requirements analysis, programming languages, software development methodologies, and tools to build and deliver software products that meet the needs of businesses, organizations, or end- users. You will work with other engineers, product managers and delivery leads, to design systems, determine functional and non-functional needs and implement solutions accordingly. You should be ready to work independently as well as in a team.

What will you do in this

  • Design, code, verify, test, document, amend and refactor moderately complex applicationsand software configurations for deployment in collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams across various regions worldwide.
  • Design test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes. Participate in requirement, design and specification reviews. Perform manual and automation testing.
  • Elicit requirements for systems and software life cycle working practices and automation. Prepare design options for the working environment of methods, procedures, techniques, tools, and people. Utilize systems and software life cycle working practices for software components and micro-services. Deploy automation to achieve well-engineered and secure outcome.
  • Work within a matrix organizational structure, reporting to both the functional manager and the Product manager.
  • Participate in Product planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with both functional and Product goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Java Microservices and front-end developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Stay actively involved in development tasks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Design and develop scalable systems using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot for backend development.
  • Develop rich, responsive user interfaces using React, Angular to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Ensure optimal integration of front-end and back-end components for customer-facing applications
  • Develop and consume Microservices, REST/SOAP APIs, and XML web services.
  • Utilize tools like Splunk, ELK, and database queries to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
  • Leverage tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform for automated deployments.
  • Work on cloud platforms like AWS, implementing and supporting cloud-based solutions.
  • Work on application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and issue remediation.
  • Work in compliance with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices
  • Management oversight/lead, team management, technical guidance, and process improvements.
  • Proactive with changing landscape and drive implementation

What should you

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or any Technologystream.
  • ~ 8-15 years of experience. 5+ years of experience with Java and Java frameworks and libraries (such as Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JEE, JDBC, JMS, JMX), relational databases, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and deployment to application servers.
  • Develop and maintain microservices-based applications using Spring Boot.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services.
  • Experience with enterprise-level databases both SQL and No-SQL such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc
  • Automated testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, etc.)
  • Monitoring and log tools (Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.), and automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)..
  • Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with modern product development practices – Agile, Scrum, test driven development, UX, design thinking.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices (Git, infrastructure as code, observability, continuous integration/continuous deployment - CI/CD).
  • Cloud-native, ideally AWScertified.
  • Product and customer-centricapproach
  • Support Agile development activities for approved stories in Jira.
  • Design and implement UI and microservices using Java, Python, Node/Angular JS, Spring Boot framework and MyBatis
  • Work on IBM Watson, Charting (HighChart or equivalent libraries), API, XML, JSON, and Database integration (PostgresSQL, Redshift, etc).
  • Knowledge of GenAI, LLM, predictive analytics, metrics, and Vector databases

Good to Have Skills:

  • Experience with any front-end technologies like React, Angular for building responsive user interfaces.
  • Understanding of security best practices and data protection methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Certification of any of public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)
  • A passionate commitment to learning about business domains and emerging technologies.

Role Overview

As a Laboratory Operations Technical Specialist, you will setup, configure, and maintain computerized laboratory systems. This role involves both creative and analytical skills to solve complex problems as well as good communication skills to work with a global (remote) customer base and team. You will use your expertise in requirements analysis, OS and software installation and configuration so that the computerized lab systems meet the needs of business while working within the framework of company policies and local laws. You will work with other technical specialists as well as scientists in the laboratories.. You should be ready to work independently as well as in a team.

What will you do in this role

  • Configure systems for operational use in the laboratories
  • Support validation activities
  • Provide global technical support using your extensive knowledge on windows, configuration, networking and general computer setup.

What should you have

  • Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience working with technologies – Windows OS, Share Drives, windows registry, windows group policies, LDAP (networking)
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Familiarity with modern tools – e.g. Tanium, Acronis, ServiceNow
  • Experience in the pharma industry, GxP are beneficial
  • Possesses both theoretical and practical knowledge, with the ability to autonomously implement given tasks
