What you will be doing
  • Work on the AWS program on strategic deals for the Sales team
  • Enable the sales team on the different motions MongoDB has with AWS
  • Generate strategic joint pipeline with AWS sales team and MongoDB account executives on existing enterprise and commercial accounts
  • Develop a Prospecting program and motion in partnership with the AWS ecosystem focused on Enterprise and Commercial accounts
  • Manage the strategic deals generated from Enterprise accounts in partnership with the MongoDB field sales, partners, and AWS sales teams until closing
  • Collaborate with the Global Pillar team for backup, support, and pipeline generation
  • Forecast: Sales Net New ACV to VP weekly
What you will bring to the table
  • 5+ years in a direct strategic sales role for a high technology company
  • Solid experience in generating pipeline
  • Experience in working in a heavy sales matrix model
  • Technically knowledgeable in the open-source software, big data, IoT, or cloud computing space
  • Fluency in English and German

Responsibilities
  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and develop a sales pipeline through our SI Partners
  • Work with our Sales team to close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual bookings objectives
  • Recruit and build strong and effective partner relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
  • Own, on behalf of VP - Area Sales, all things partner related
  • Manage Partners at an Area level but loop back to Global team
  • Interlock with Global Pillar teams for backup and support
  • Participate in our sales enablement trainings, including our comprehensive Sales Bootcamp, sophisticated sales training, and leadership and development programs
  • Collaborate with SI Partners to identify and source NWLs while strategically influencing the acquisition of new business opportunities
Qualifications
  • BA/BS required
  • 8+ years field experience of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on new business
  • 8+ years of quota-carrying experience generating pipeline and selling through SI Partners in a heavy sales matrix model
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • A track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Skilled in building business champions and running a complex sales process
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
  • Familiarity with databases, devops and open source technology a plus
  • Driven and competitive: Possess a strong desire to be successful
  • Skilled in managing time and resources; sound approach to qualifying opportunities
  • Possess aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility. High EQ and self-aware
  • Passionate about growing your career in the largest market in software (database) and developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of MongoDB products

Responsibilities:
  • Build & leverage Executive-level relationships between Google Cloud & MongoDB to create and close business
  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and develop a sales pipeline to and through our cloud partners
  • Report to the Head of Global Co-sell for GCP and own, on behalf of AVP - NEUR, all things Google Cloud related.
  • Drive large and strategic deals in partnership with the MongoDB field sales, partners, and Google Cloud sales teams
  • Interlock with the Global Cloud Program team for backup, support, and pipeline generation
  • Own Quota for generating new business and uncovering new workloads/logos via cloud partners
  • Generate strategic joint pipeline with Google Cloud and support direct sales force on defined end-user sales pursuits
  • Forecast co-sell Net ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) and sourced new workloads by cloud partners to sales leadership on a weekly basis
Requirements
  • 8 + years experience in a quota carrying direct strategic sales or partner/channel sales, ideally with experience co-selling with the hyperscalers
  • Solid experience in generating pipeline
  • Experience in working in a heavy sales matrix model
  • Relevant experience and knowledge of open source, enterprise software apps, SaaS, Database, or Cloud Computing
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to drive complex sales cycles, demonstrating multiple stakeholder management
  • Experience developing successful and scalable technology partnership programs
  • Ability to engage & influence C-Level executives
  • Given the profile of this role, we are looking for consistent overachievers
