What your job will look like:
- Identify, develop, and manage suppliers to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, including generating purchase orders, verifying receipt of goods, and resolving supply chain issues.
- Collaborate with department managers to clarify purchase requisitions, understand departmental needs, and refine specifications for future procurement.
- Work closely with R&D and Production teams, fostering strong relationships with engineering teams to anticipate needs and drive procurement decisions based on demand forecasts.
All you need is:
- 5+ years of experience as a Buyer in a relevant field, at least 3 of them from an international company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or in other relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of electronic components, mechanical parts, and related commodities (mandatory).
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications – significant advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with Subcontractor management.
- Fluent English (both written and spoken).
- Deep understanding of procurement procedures and supply chain management, Import/Export.
- Advanced negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Strong analytical, proactive, and problem-solving mindset, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to work in a dynamic environment
