The day-to-day:

  • Investigate and resolve complex customer issues escalated from Tier 2, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams on debugging, fixing, and improving Kaltura products and services.
  • Analyze logs, traces, and API calls to identify root causes and deliver effective solutions.
  • Work across backend systems (primarily PHP and Node.js), with occasional frontend or integration tasks.
  • Operate within AWS cloud environments, including scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting services.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to Tier 2 and other internal teams.

Ideally, we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering or advanced technical support roles.
  • Strong coding skills in PHP and Node.js (backend focus).
  • Solid understanding of AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, CloudFront, RDS, etc.).
  • Experience with debugging production issues in distributed systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and customer orientation.

These would also be nice:

  • Familiarity with Kaltura products or other large-scale video/media platforms.
  • Experience working with REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or similar) to troubleshoot full-stack issues.

The Day-to-Day

  • Serve as the primary technical contact during the life-cycle Live events.
  • Analyze logs, API calls, and error messages using tools like SQL, Grafana, OpenSearch, and other debugging tools.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Product, Professional Services, and Account Management teams to enhance the customer experience.

Ideally, We’re Looking For:

  • 2-4 years of experience in technical support in a SaaS company.
  • High-pressure environments: be able to provide exceptional customer communication and expert escalation management in real time.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with experience analyzing logs and familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with AWS tools (CloudWatch, Athena, S3 buckets), monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Grafana, OpenSearch).
  • High proficiency in spoken and written Hebrew and English (native-level fluency preferred).

These would also be nice:

The role:

K8s, AWS, Helm, Terraform, Github Actions, CloudFormation, ArgoCD, NodeJS, Prometheus/Thanos, Go, PHP, Linux, Redis, Mongo, MySQL, Cloudfront and any other buzzwords you could think of 🙂

The day-to-day:

  • Deploy, manage, secure, and maintain our robust video platforms, applications, microservices and infrastructure using latest the technologies such as K8s, cloud native applications and IaC
  • Work closely with other DevOps teams members to improve deployment tools and processes
  • Collaborate with members of our R&D and core platform teams to improve Kaltura’s platform based on real-world business use cases
  • Participate in planning and design to define Kaltura product offerings
  • Work within an agile project framework

Ideally, we’re looking for:

  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes and its ecosystem, including open-source tools commonly used for deployment and cluster management (e.g. Helm, ArgoCD, Kustomize)
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform at scale
  • Experience working within on-demand cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.
  • Expertise in Linux system administration
  • Experience deploying and managing scalable web application stacks, including load balancers, application servers, databases (e.g. MySQL, Mongo) and caching layers (e.g. Memcached, Redis)

These would also be nice:

  • Experience managing multi-tenant environments and the process considerations that go along with it
  • Some understanding of common web-facing programming languages and frameworks (e.g. PHP, NodeJS, Python, Go)

The role

You’ll take part in the R&D DevOps team, grow, build efficient, secure, robust, and highly available ecosystem.

The day-to-day

  • Handling CI/CD Infrastructure, Automation, Monitoring, Security to deliver production-grade service across multiple applications and many microservices.
  • You will work and collaborate with the other R&D groups but not only.
  • You will work in a pure AWS environment.
  • You will work with ArgoCD and many Kubernetes based environments using Helm.
  • Build, Develop and define new tools to accelerate efficiency in the product’s growth and development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop, Maintain, Integrate cutting edge technologies and Open Source tools such as – K8s, ArgoCD, Helm, Thanos, Grafana, Jenkins, Argo Workflows, Kafka, GRPC, Istio, TerraForm and many more

Ideally, we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in previous DevOps roles.
  • Production experience with AWS.
  • Proven experience with Docker, K8S and Helm.
  • Coding skills (Python, Bash).
  • Experience with databases such as SQL, Elasticsearch, Redis.
  • Experience in large-scale operations.

These would also be nice:

  • Deep networking understanding.
  • Experience with micro-service architecture.

As a QA Automation Engineer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing UI automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams—including software QA, front-end developers, and DevOps—to integrate UI tests into the development process, contribute to optimizing the CI/CD pipeline for front-end testing, and help improve overall UI test coverage.

The day-to-day:

  • Assist in building and maintaining the UI automation framework and infrastructure to support development and deployment processes.
  • Work closely with QA, front-end developers, and DevOps engineers to ensure the smooth integration of automated UI tests.
  • Support the creation and refinement of UI automation methodologies by selecting and using appropriate tools and frameworks.
  • Develop and improve testing processes for both new and existing products.
  • Identify UI Quality Issues- detect, track, and report UI-specific bugs to support the development process.

Ideally, we’re looking for:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Automation Development, hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks and developing Python-based solutions for UI test automation.
  • Proficiency in UI Automation Tools, direct experience using Selenium and/or Playwright for automating front-end tests.
  • Experience in developing Python-based automation frameworks for UI testing.
  • Proficiency in bash and shell scripting to support test automation.
  • The ability to clearly communicate UI testing concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.

Ideally, We’re Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical support in a SaaS company.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with experience analyzing logs and familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, proficiency in SQL (Join level required), and familiarity with databases and system behavior
  • Ability to read and write Python, Bash, or JavaScript scripts for automation and internal tools.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with AWS tools (CloudWatch, Athena) and experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Grafana, OpenSearch, Logz.io).
  • Exceptional customer-facing and communication skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations and effectively manage customer escalations.
  • Self-motivated, Out-Of-The-Box thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written Hebrew and English (native-level fluency preferred).
