A typical day consists of assisting customers and performing transactions. You will also look for opportunities to make customers lives easier by setting up self-service options and building relationships. Throughout the week, you will schedule time to review branch operations and share updated policy and procedures with branch employees. - Works with the Branch Manager to set the tone of the branch environment to provide an exceptional customer experience and a dynamic and engaging culture
- Engages clients as they enter the branch by welcoming them and making customers feel appreciated, performing transactions, managing lobby traffic, checking clients into the waiting queue and scheduling/canceling client meetings
- Performs branch operations which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault, ATM, or others while adhering to all bank policies and procedures
- Introduces customers to the branch team who will build relationships and assist with specialized financial needs
- Makes customers’ lives easier by sharing and setting up self-service options to access their accounts 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week
- Supports the Branch Manager with all aspects of branch operations, including loss control, compliance, and audit standards
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Detail-oriented, organized, and have the ability to multi-task with a dedication to follow policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
- Availability to work Branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- Demonstrated ability to make connections, engage, and educate customers and refer to colleagues as appropriate
- Strong desire and ability to influence, educate, and connect team, partners, and customers to technology
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and proficiency in operations and transaction accuracy while working well in a team environment
- Some College level or military equivalent or 2+ years of branch banking experience
- Successful completion of the Branch Operations Lead training program is a pre-requisite to be considered active in Branch Operations Lead role

As a Relationship Banker , you will take a lead role in delivering an outstanding experience to Chase customers. You will acquire, manage, and retain meaningful relationships with our customers, using your financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions to help address their financial needs, contributing to the success of the branch. Job responsibilities
- Delivers an exceptional customer experience by acting with a customer-first attitude
- Manages assigned customers and proactively meets with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, discover financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations
- Makes personal connections, engages and educates customers, asks open-ended questions, and listens to establish trust and build lasting relationships
- Influences, educates, and connects customers to technology
- Possesses initiative and knowledge to provide financial options for customers using a consultative approach
- Learns products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately and delivers solutions that make our One Chase products work together
- Works in partnership with Specialists (Financial Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers) to connect customers to experts who can help them with specialized financial needs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 1+ year of experience in Retail banking sales, Financial services sales, Consultative relationship sales role in a related industry, with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening customer relationships and delivering results
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Beginning October 1, 2018, the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required), and Life licenses are required. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses within 180 days of hire
- Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meets internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products/services to customers with differing needs
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- College degree or military equivalent
- Professional, thorough, and organized with strong follow-up skills
- Exude confidence with clients when sharing product knowledge and solutions
- Experience adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
